The atmosphere is very nice and vibrant, the place is always full of nice and friendly people who love to chat over few beers. It can be very packed especially if there is some event going on, but it is part of the brauhaus. The only negative point is that the food is way too expensive. You will hardly find any main on the menu cheaper than $25 (for instance all the schintzel are $32).

The restaurant is huge and nicely decorated. Good place to go for dinner.

Set menu is good value when there is a special deal.. otherwise is a little bit overpriced at full whack. Pork knuckle is always good, chicken schnitzel is good but it needs to come with sauce

Great place to have fun and eat great German food and beer. The band was was playing and everyone had a good time singing along. Not ideal for an intimate dinner as conversation was difficult.

Service slow, not friendly, food ok but was much better in the past. A German bar with no german beers on tap!! What a joke. Beer isn’t cold enough, menus we were given still had the old drinks list, very disappointed used to enjoy going to this place, won’t be back. Kind regards Gavin..

Service was slow and drinks were expensive. Luckily most of us took advantage of the happy hour deals. We left once happy hour finished.

The portions are VERY generous and tasty. For a tastebof everything, I highly recommend the Munich Brahaus tastong platter for 1 (I think between 2!) as portions are massive and you get a hearty taste of everything. Variety of sausages, sauerkraut, mash potato, big piece of chicken schnitzel. Beautiful venue and friendly predominantly European staff for an authentic experience.

About Munich Brauhaus The Rocks

A Bavarian beauty Housed in a stone, heritage-listed building, in the heart of The Rocks, Munich Brauhaus is the place to be if you’re looking for a range of thirst quenching (unpronounceable) German craft beers. This historic venue has had a makeover, morphing into a refreshed, more modern version of its former self - meaning the haus party just got bigger and better! While there is a strong emphasis on beer, the authentic Bavarian style menu also sets tongues wagging. The Munich-style restaurant and bar will transport you straight to Germany with their traditional dishes and female waiters dressed in traditional Dirndl dresses (settle down boys, we know you’re excited!). Famed for its stellar selection of hand-crafted burgers and haus-made hot dogs, this venue has all the key ingredients to draw a crowd - and has no trouble doing so - night, after night, after night. Prost! Best dish: Brautellar… German sausage tasting platter with creamy mash, sauerkraut and jus.
