When the sun is shining and you’re sitting outdoors eating good food, drinking good wine, it’s hard to be anything other than thoroughly contented at this restaurant. Always a great outcome.

Amazing! We loved it so much that we booked Muse Restaurant for dinner after we ate here for lunch.

Had a fantastic 60th wedding anniversary celebration. The food was excellent quality. We shared the deserts and all of them were to die for. The atmosphere was warm and cosy on a winter's night. Most impressive was the service which was attentive and friendly. I have never been to a restaurant in which every arrival and every departure had someone to open the door; very impressive. Will definitely go back next time I'm in the Hunter.

Great night out! The service was friendly and efficient while the food set a very high standard! Wine list was a mixture of locals; several we hadn't had before but have subsequently gone and bought! We enjoyed every minute and wouldn't hesitate to go back again or recommend to others. Thanks

This was our third visit and it is still our favourite restaurant in the Hunter. Food, staff, location and ambience are all five star.

Fantastic produce and wine. Our proteins were cooked to perfection and great all around flavours. Service was attentive and faultless. Only constructive feedback is value. $80 for a three courses (on the smaller end of serving sizes). Other than that, great all around.

Amazing lunch, the Lamb was to die for and of course the wine was delicious.

About Muse Kitchen

Opened in 2011 Muse Kitchen is the sister venue to Muse Restaurant. Brought to you by decorated restaurateurs Troy and Megan Rhoades-Brown, Muse Kitchen boasts a personal approach to food, wine and service, delivering European inspired food that is season and produce driven. Found in the picturesque Keith Tulloch Wines courtyard, this busy, fun and relaxed eatery has been a popular lunch destination for many years. The foundation of Muse food is simple; great produce. The key to their style lies within treating each ingredient with care and knowledge, inspiring the best expression of character without confusing or losing its true flavour. Best dish: smoked pork hock and gruyere cheese toastie dijon béchamel and mixed leaf salad
