On our third visit we concurred with our previous conclusion that this must be one of THE restaurant experiences in Australia. Every thing was perfect except that I was facing into the afternoon sun. The sommelier was excellent and guided us to a wine just of our taste. The food looked and tasted exquisite. The service was excellent but we found some of the descriptions too soft for our ageing ears. A wonderful experience from our greeting to our now memories. Thank you.

From the moment our group of 6 were greeted at the door to the end of our leisurely lunch, we were looked after. The menu provides a choice of either degustation or a la carte - we chose a la carte as the whole table must take the degustation, which didn’t appeal to all in our group. The food was a taste sensation & beautifully presented. Good all-round wine list with some very good offerings with a mid-range price tag. You will not be disappointed if you dine here.

This is our 3rd time at muse over the last 5 years. Unfortunately the degustation menu had a few dishes that didn’t have much flavour. Muse coconut still a highlight. Service was great as always

This is our favourite restaurant. We live in Sydney and have been to a lot of hatted restaurants in Sydney, but we love Muse for food, service and price. If we can’t get into Muse we don’t go to the Hunter Valley for the weekend. Simply the best, menu changes seasonally.

This restaurant is predominantly for the experience of fine dining.... It was a 4 course limited menu. Course 1 was a soup type starter, yeah ok Course 2 Entree, delicious, a party in your mouth. Main. I had Steamed Trout, was delicious with the Veges it was served with, wife had Lamb, was a very fatty piece, not great. Dessert; both choices were excellent.

About Muse Restaurant

It's not about dinner - it's about dining. In 2009, Megan and Troy Rhoades-Brown opened Muse Restaurant with the aim of establishing themselves as one of Australia's finest regional restaurants - and they've succeeded. This restaurant in the beautiful Hunter region is a spectacular eatery that prides itself in providing superior Modern-Australian cuisine in a world class setting. The dining room with its towering glass ceilings and gleaming central kitchen, made cosy with the crackle of an open fire is a true spectacle and the ultra rich menu is belt-tighteningly good. Best Dish: Muse Coconut
