The food was nice, though the service was quite hit and miss and was not even that busy. I have been a few times now and this was the worst service I have experienced.

We were having a great evening on a Friday night. After our meal @9pm while we were sitting and chatting and having a drink - about to order another bottle of wine - we were asked to move to the bar so they could set up for a function the next day. Poor. Spent $700 and hurried up at 9pm. We didn't want to sit at the bar, we wanted to chat at the table we booked. Go somewhere else if you want to chill with friends.

Disappointing. I have been to Must several times over the past few years as a bit of a treat destination but this visit was not good. I had booked for 5pm and although the place was almost empty the service was pretty erratic. The food was fine but both courses (pork croquettes followed by the duck and a salad) were absolutely swimming in oil and vinegar. I was offered my dessert (cheese) on the house when I pointed this out which was a nice gesture but the kitchen needs to wind back big time on the dressings.

In my opinion Must Wine Bar is one Perth’s most underrated restaurants. The food, the intelligent wine list and service never disappoints. My wife and I will keep returning.

The food was mediocre to say the least. We ordered two entrees and two mains (gold band snapper and beef fillet). The restaurant and the menu lends itself to be a high quality restaurant and good food. Although the restaurant has a good atmosphere, the food that we ordered was dressed up pub food at a high price. There was no surprise in the food and nothing special, I missed some flavour. The service was very good however. But because of the sub standard food I wouldn’t go back again.

Fish and steak choices tasty and well cooked and presented. Extensive wine list. Noisy. Service only average. Pavlova dessert mediocre. Hard meringue.

Mist food was as always simply brilliant. Our run of going to a wine specialist and ordering the wine that is unavailable continued (4 visits in a row now). Service was good but not normal, seemed a bit rushed. Overall a really good meal. Never disappoints

Excellent food as always. Ordered the crumbed shark bay squid, cauliflower fritters, pork croquettes and angel hair crab pasta. Service was slightly slow given it was quiet during lunch.

The food here is amazing! I highly recommend the Oysters Natural - Sriracha Lime Dressing and the Arkady Lamb Plate, easily the best lamb I’ve ever eaten. I am looking forward to my next visit.

Amazing food and service! Must turns 18 this week and is a testament to chef Russell’s passion for bringing great food and wine to Perth. Every dish we ordered was delicious, but the duck was truly outstanding!

Must delivered again with great food and service. I was a little disappointed with the change in menu as we normally like a good steak but the only steak on offer was the minute steak (which was still ok). I would suggest swapping the minute steak for an eye fillet maybe.

It’s a must.

One thing’s for certain, Must Winebar is a must-visit for wine lovers in Perth. This modern wine bar boasts an excellent wine list (as you’d expect) that has kept it at the pinnacle of Perth’s bar scene since 2001.What drives the buzz for wine enthusiasts is its wine list is regularly changing with a challenging, diverse collection of wines from all parts of the world – served by the glass. They are rarely familiar and always tantalising: an alluring white from the Beeka Valley; a rosé from Montsant; a chardonnay viognier from Chile; a vermentino from Sardinia...should we go on? But it’s not all about wine, there’s impressive beer selections for the blokes, cocktails and spirits a plenty that will satisfy even the most fussy palates, very good bar food, delicious bistro meals and an atmospheric buzz to the place. What’s more, the upstairs Champagne Bar adds an extra dimension to dining. It’s intimate and offers five different styles of Champagne by the glass, and the most outstanding list in town by the bottle. We told you this was a must.

Best dish (or should it be wine?): chicken liver parfait
