THE Absolute best restaurant I have ever eaten at. The chef is a master. The service was second to none.

My partner and I had the tasting banquet and it was delicious from start to finish. My only con was that much of the banquet dishes were cold or room temperature so I definitely wanted something hot and ordered the chicken karaage. Having been double booked at the teppanyaki bar, the restaurant was very accommodating and offered drinks on the house which were very well appreciated. I’ll be back to try other parts of the menu!

About Nagisa

Since opening back in October 2004, Nagisa Japanese restaurant has become a highlight on the Newcastle, and Honeysuckle, dining scene. Located on The Boardwalk at Honeysuckle, Nagisa offers diners a delicious blend of traditional and modern Japanese cuisine. The restaurant’s layout pays homage to the minimalistic style of Japanese interiors and also features one of the few teppanyaki bars in Newcastle where guests can watch their meals cooked right in front of them. Locals and visitors alike keep coming back to Nagisa and the Restaurant and Catering Awards recognised the restaurant as winner in the Asian category for 2010 and 2013.
