Excellent
Great food. Great service.
What a find! Namaste is a lovely little gem tucked away in leafy Parkside. The first thing I noticed and loved walking into the cottage was the ambience created by the decor and quiet music. It is carpeted and even though there was a table of 12 next to us we didn't find it loud. The food was fantastic and the attentive service. We ordered the vegetarian mini banquet and when the desserts arrived I realised it was milk based. I explained to the waitress I couldn't eat it thank you and gave it back. The waitress returned and offered me a vegan alternative which was lovely. Definitely will be back.
Return customers.. Always amazing food and service
This was our first visit to Namaste. We were going to the movies, so had limited time, but we were served quickly. Our food was delicious and the staff were attentive and lovely. We plan to go back to have the banquet and make the dinner the main event.
Great mean and great service
Lovely welcome to the restaurant, with very attentive staff throughout the whole evening. Choice of dishes was excellent and the food that we chose was perfect and spiced just enough to make the food full of flavour without the after burn of many curries. We will be back!! Go try it...
Wonderful Xmas dinner
Namaste has become our "go to" restaurant for our family's birthday celebrations. Their excellent food and super-friendly and accommodating staff make every visit a treat. Their diverse menu can accommodate all our dietary quirks from vegetarian, gluten free, sugar and dairy free. Always delicious. Thank you. We look forward to returning again very soon.
What a great gem, excellent and delicious food with great flavours, the services was excellent and above expectations, I will be definitely recommended this restaurant to my friends, well done guys
The quaint little gem of a restaurant with fantastic food and staff and atmosphere- casual and colourful with good old fashioned service and a comfortable place for a small group or just a table for 2
Excellent food and service as always.
This restaurant had a perfect mix of atmosphere, tasty food and, welcoming and friendly staff. Food presentation was great. It wasn't noisy and made for a really enjoyable evening. Will definitely recommend to friends and family, and will most certainly be going back there myself.
Namaste has become the "go to" place for us to celebrate all our family's birthdays. The food is always delicious. The service is always friendly, accommodating and efficient. It works for the children in our family, the elderly, the vegetarians and the sugar, wheat and dairy free members as well. Everyone is catered for and we all leave full and happy. Thank you, Namaste, for yet another superb evening. :-) Bronnie
Lovely food and lovely people. Went for my birthday and they surprised me with a complimentary sweet with a sparkler - really lovely.
Great atmosphere and very welcoming and attentive staff. Service was excellent. Food however although in good proportions was lacking a little flavour, the Jhaneko Daal was too watery and the Chulobata barramundi lacked spice, the best dish of the night was the lamb Khasiko Masu,
Very disappointed after reading reviews expectations were higher . Food tonight below average
We enjoyed a lovely dinner at this restaurant, opting for the mini-banquet to get a broad sample of the menu. The service was attentive but not overbearing, the food tasty and arrived in a timely manner, and the setting pleasant. We will no doubt return.
It was a quiet Monday night that we arrived at the restaurant and settled at our table. There were few people there, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and top quality. If there was one thing I would have changed it would have been to increase the portions of the food a little, since they were not that big, but overall it was outstanding.
Really interesting menu and wasn’t disappointed with our choices! The lamb shank special was perfectly cooked and the chicken dish the favourite for the night. Service was welcoming and lovely warm atmosphere. We will be going back to explore the menu offerings some more
Four of us had a lovely evening. Made us very welcome as soon as we arrived and the service was so friendly and warm and also professional. All of the dishes we ordered were so delicious. Good night out. Glad we booked.

Take a deep breath The word ‘Namaste’, meaning in broad terms to welcome a stranger and acknowledge the divinity in them, is fitting in the welcoming manner of the staff at this vibrant restaurant. Colourful and rich in atmosphere, this very popular and quaintly situated house hidden in the backstreets of Parkside is an oasis of calm and nourishment. Adorning all staff, the Tibetan traditional costume adds to the experience as you eat their fabulous food which is a spicy blend of Chinese, Indian and Tibetan. Fear not though, this is not the place you go to participate in a chilli eating competition; their cuisine will suit everyone from gluten-free diners to children, as their flavours, whilst complex, are mild and happily ‘low in chilli’. Their dining areas are great for a romantic date, as patrons are separated into small groups in the many rooms of the house, and tranquil courtyard with water features is a great way to finish your milky, fruit laden traditional desserts. Best Dish: Kwati (Bean Curry)
