9.5/10Always enjoy dining at the Namaste. Food is superb; service is great; good wine list; corkage is very reasonable for BYO. One of Adelaide's hidden gems.

Take a deep breath The word ‘Namaste', meaning in broad terms to welcome a stranger and acknowledge the divinity in them, is fitting in the welcoming manner of the staff at this vibrant restaurant. Colourful and rich in atmosphere, this very popular and quaintly situated house hidden in the backstreets of Parkside is an oasis of calm and nourishment. Adorning all staff, the Tibetan traditional costume adds to the experience as you eat their fabulous food which is a spicy blend of Chinese, Indian and Tibetan. Fear not though, this is not the place you go to participate in a chilli eating competition; their cuisine will suit everyone from gluten-free diners to children, as their flavours, whilst complex, are mild and happily ‘low in chilli'. Their dining areas are great for a romantic date, as patrons are separated into small groups in the many rooms of the house, and tranquil courtyard with water features is a great way to finish your milky, fruit laden traditional desserts. Best Dish: Kwati (Bean Curry)
