Great ambience and loved the pizzas. Will certainly be coming back.
Food was delicious as usual but the service was really slow. It wasn’t extremely busy for a Monday night but we had to wait over 40 minutes for our starter (baked olives). They were apologetic and the pizzas came out quickly after. But then we waited a further 30 minutes for coffee and cannoli.
We always try to go to Napoli Centrale when ever we visit Newcastle and always take overseas visitors there. We always have a lovely meal there and we can sit outside with our dog which is good the staff are always friendly and the food top notch would and have recommended to many of our friends.
Always a really good time at Napoli - food consistently good, service consistently good. This time round, they were undertaking renovations so the ambience was a bit poorer than usual, but did not hugely impact the night.
Just brilliant Neapolitan pizza; thin base, chewy crust, fresh ingredients. Love the joint.
Great place fantastic food, highly recommend
Great food. Will go back.
Great place loved it
We were disappointed that affogato and coffees were off the menu by 8.50pm because the coffee machine had been turned off for the night. Service was lowest standard of all our visits to Napoli- no cutlery, pizzas were not sliced through and lots of dirty plates left on the table.
Incredible service and authentic Italian food right in the heart of the city - highly recommend
What a gem! Was not enticed to dine here by the look from outside (too casual) but as you can see on the website, it is a real authentic italian gem. Loved the story of the oven, the cafe's origins, and the pizzas are sublime, not heavy at all! Excellent service, excellent atmosphere and obviously very popular. 10 out of 10 !
Go to Napoli frequently but last night was extremely disappointing. We waited an hour for our pizza and it was below average. Burnt yet dough on underside not cooked. Something was cleared not right. A lot of commotion in kitchen. Disappointing as no one apologised for wait. Did feedback to waitress.
Pizzas were big and delicious, but quite light on the tummy. Garlic bread was incredible. Overall really enjoyable. Only downfalls was only 1 staff on the floor and it got quite busy, definitely needed another person on the floor at times. Also a bit noisy inside.
Have been here a few times and it never disappoints.
The woodfire pizza was great and ingredients were very fresh
We had a pizza and sala, everything was fresh and tasty.
We always take our 5 grandchildren for an early meal and the service is superb.
Saves the flight to Italy!????????
