We shared their half rotisserie chicken on a Wednesday weekly special and ordered their fish of the day which was a salmon with capers and a Kale salad. We also ordered some chips and this was enough for us 3 girls on a work lunch date. Chicken tasted amazing and salmon was cooked to perfection! Slightly translucent on the inside and was delicious. Would definitely visit again! Hopefully next week!

A special birthday lunch for my daughter. Good food, generous servings : very good value for money. Service excellent. Loved the decor (taxidermy displays, and view of stained glass windows next door!) and the overall atmosphere. I also thought it was refreshingly conducive to close conversation (unlike many other popular spots which easily descend into a cacophany!) Highly recommend.

The food and service are better than most. Even though it's not a steakhouse and doesn't have a lot of variety, the steaks are pretty good. A little more flexibility when ordering, like being able to choose between salad, fries, or roast potatoes to go with the steak, would be nice. Minor nitpicks: The seating could be more comfortable. I understand having cheap seats for casual diners, but the seating for 'restaurant service' diners isn't much better. It's easy to spend $100 per person at this place, not counting tips, and at those prices, I expect large, comfortable chairs that I can relax in. The tables are somewhat flimsy and have sharp aluminium-trimmed edges, which makes resting your elbows on them rather uncomfortable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at the Natural History Public Bar. Food was lovely, service was great and it was so nice to have lunch at a restaurant that wasn't too noisy.

I was really disappointed. Very ordinary food, service was a bit intrusive, checking constantly if everything was ok. Has there been a change since opening? I have been looking forward to coming here, won't be doing it again.
