Good value, delicious food, service and atmosphere. Took extended family there and they loved the mango lassi. :)

Good value and nice food

Restaurant experience was a bit disappointing. Apart from Naan bread food was a bit ordinary. The beer served was not cold and glassware was not clean. Some of the cooked entrees were not hot and tasted as though they were either reheated or kept warm. Service was attentive. The noise in restaurant from loud music didn't help with the ambience in restaurant. There was different music coming from the kitchen area which was different to that played in restaurant. There was an adjoining table with quite a large family gathering with a crying baby which didn't help either in enjoying the dining experience. The restaurant did not look that clean and toilet area was dirty. Overall would not recommend this place. Think there are better Indian restaurants in Harris Park.

About Neelam

A local favourite Located at the heart of Parramatta’s recently revamped dining precinct, Neelam Indian Restaurant offers authentic Indian food from every region of the subcontinent. Owner and chef Gyan Chand graduated from the Indian Tourism Development Corporation and worked in the kitchens of several five star hotels in India before relocating to Sydney. Chand has drawn on his experience to create a menu filled with flavour-packed favourites like aloo tikki and adraki lamb cutlets. Just make sure you leave room sweet treats like sticky mango kulfi and Neelam’s special faluda. The dining room feels traditional with prints from the Indian countryside, plush carpets and soft Bollywood-esque music. Combine this with a staff that prides themselves on service and you’ve got a top-notch dining experience. Best dish: Butter chicken
