As my lunch group of 8+ attends the Tea Room every 2 months it was disappointing to be seated in the corridor adjacent to the escalators. We usually occupy the tables at the back in front of the mirror where we can relax over several hours of a ladies' lunch. Our waiter was fantastic (?name) and the food up to and exceeding its usual standard.

It was very pleasant we spent 4 hours eating, drinking and catching up with friends. Celebrating my milestone birthday. On Monday the Windsor went a little further and gave me a small cake with a candle on it

The security is crazy - I had to remove a very small leather back to go in. Food was ok but a bit over priced. Service was lovely

Scrumptious sandwiches, Scrumptious scones & Scrumptious young guys greeting and serving you. What more could one ask for?!? The food was delicious and the young guys greeting and serving you were equally as delicious also. They dished up top notch service with a smile coupled with a generous dollop of sexy eye candy! Thoroughly recommend - can’t wait to “head” back!

I always love the tearoom. The service is usually very friendly and efficient and there is a range of selections. This visit however we said we would have coffee after our main dish but no-one returned and no - one came nearby to catch their attention and we had to go without our coffee to get to our performance in time. I have had this problem before but remembered to leave my seat to go and get someone in time.

High tea is good - not great. Savoury pastries, scones were tasty and fresh. However sandwiches were very bland.
