6/10The service on this occasion fell short in a few areas. Admittedly I haven’t been back here in a couple of years and last time it was nice. I made a booking online, when I rang to confirm they advised my booking hadn’t come through. We arrived on time and it took a while to order and even longer for the drinks and food to come out. I think it was close to 30 minutes for drinks and almost an hour for food. The team were friendly and tables were well spaced out. The drinks and food were good but the service and timing brought the overall experience down. Perhaps it was the table size that affected things as we had a big table but hopefully it will be better next time.

10/10I had the Japanese salmon and my husband had the lamb souvlaki. Both were excellent. The waitress was very hard-working and delightful in her approach to us when we arrived at the restaurant. The pancakes that followed were the lightest we have had in a restaurant for a long time. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to many of my friends well done.

8.5/10Had a long lunch here with friends. Lovely small cafe bar atmosphere, lovely and efficient staff amd reasonably priced. I really enjoyed the chicken fajita. My husband had Thai beef and was a bit disappointed. Ask for more dressing All other meals were good.

8/10Excellent lunchtime food . Nasi Goreng & Chicken Fajitas were both exceptionally god and tasty. Service was a little slow, although we weren't in a hurry, but we had to seek out the wait staff a couple of times. But overall, very good and would recommend.

8.5/10Food was fantastic, service was good & attentive. Just unfortunate it was a quiet night & there was not a lot of atmosphere. However, would go back again.

9/10First time to Niche on Bridge, and it was great, it won't be the last. We had brunch and there was plenty of great options, something for everyone. Coffee was great and service was really friendly and efficient. It's a bit down Bridge Rd, towards Officeworks, but definitely worth the walk.

9.8/10Excellent value for money with their set dinner menu, and fabulous food to match! The set menu offers a selection of entrees, steak (or gnocchi or fish), three sides and a good selection of cheese to finish. Attentive and friendly service. The restaurant is on the end of the happenings of Bridge Road, but well worth a visit!

6.3/10Fairly uninspiring decor and atmosphere and a few lycra clad folk in for breakfast, but friendly and welcoming staff and my group were all happy with their meals.

We think we've found your niche Don't be fooled by the subtle glass exterior -- tucked away on the Yarra-end of Richmond's Bridge Road, Niche is melting with style. Designed by local architects Interlandi Mantesso, the floor is an array of cosy tables and booths that set the scene for a special night out. Modern Australian cuisine is on offer with a distinct Spanish and Middle Eastern influence. Whether it be the goats cheese gnocchi or the pan roasted fish of the day, you're in for a treat of flavour, with delicate touches of herbs and spices that bring a distinctive new take on old favourites. Fabulously friendly floor staff are more than happy to guide you through the day's specials. Speaking of, there's an extensive range on offer in their wine menu, sure to round of any good meal as well as an impressive selection of drinks for whatever the occasion (their espresso martini is a definite knock-out). Best dish: duck pappardelle
