A francesinha é excecional, recomendo vivamente!

Very friendly and efficient staff with helpful suggestions about food and wine. The food was excellent, best chips all holiday - they were so fresh and piping hot. The mushroom sauce was gorgeous and very moorish. Delicious chocolate mousse for dessert.

I tried the Frasesinha a NoitEscura, it was amazing...i totally recomend..the service was really good, i felt very welcomed and the space was clean and refreshing.

We sat outside, and since it’s in a closed street, we were not bothered by passing people or cars. The waiters are friendly, the food is delicious. One might say that the serving is not outstanding, but please, check the taste and quality before making any judgments :) we were pleased! Hidden gem of Funchal Center :)

Good meal not expensive.

Absolutely fantastic atmosphere and service. The food very good too, Especially octopus and espanada beef. I honestly recommend.

The starter was ok .. the main dish .. the fish was frozen and the lamb was not really good . Sorry to say but this was not a really good Portuguese cuisine

We ate here twice last year and the meals and service were great. Visited again this year and everything was perfect. Nice staff and excellent food and very good value for money and good portion sizes. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

simply charming small restaurant with good food and family atmosphere. Away of the mainstreet. definitely try the limpets and the fish. We will come back

Really traditional and tasty dishes and the staff was nice and welcoming; the restaurant is located in a side street and therefore it is not so busting, what we liked a lot

We received a complimentary drink at our arrival. The mussels we tried were very tasteful. The seafood rice was too much for two and unfortunately we had to leave some but it was nice. Nice experience and a good price!

Went twice whilst in madeira had prawn and octopus starter's and 2 fillet steaks in sauce the 1st time,fish soup and tapas and fillet steaks again the second time, everything superb.Good offer with the fork plus excellent service from pedro and Sandra. Faultless.

Perfect anytime again! Try the risotto with fish very delicious! Nice service and good hint to try not the housewine but a very nice white wine in bottle. Thx
