About Nomad

Nomad is a cellar door in the city where the food and wine showcase the best local produce from Australian farmers, grape growers and wine makers. Our menu draws on the flavours of the Mediterranean using local Australian ingredients to create a dynamic and seasonally driven menu. As part of the Nomad vision, we wanted to bring the cellar door atmosphere, from around the country, to Sydney's Surry Hills. By offering most of our wines by the glass, you can travel around the country and hear the stories of our winemakers without leaving town. Our team of chefs work with the best local produce from around NSW and Australia. We have menu options to suit any occasion, from a quick nibble before a show to the NOMAD Feast. Our menu features many vegetarian options and we take pride in being able to cater for a wide range of dietary requirements. We are able to cater for parties of 1 - 40 people and can work with you to craft the perfect evening. For the most exciting seat in the house, join us on the kitchen counter, which wraps around our open kitchen, situated in the middle of the restaurant. Watch the magic happen right in front of you, as the chefs prepare and plate the menu. If you enjoy a more traditional dining experience, make a reservation for our main dining room and soak up the contemporary warehouse fit out.
