First time experience at a Greek Restaurant and I loved the cuisine I was able to experience. I will definitely come back another time for dinner as they have a much larger menu to choose from compared to my lunch but I still very stuffed but most importantly very satisfied when I left. I had the Peinirli, kinda like a Turkish Pides but even better, this was a huge meal, probably better with 2 people. Also had the Seafood Plate, Calamari, Octopus & Prawns, loved trying that style of Octopus. And finally had the Chicken Souvlaki. The only negative came from this, I got no Tomato on my salad and they also added dressing which I did not ask for so I didn't bother eating any. Not that it bothered me too much, I had more then enough by that stage but chefs do need to just pay a little more attention to orders please. All staff were exceptional and were able to explain menu items to me whenever I needed help. 9.9/10 Really looking forward to visiting again for dinner.
Beautiful restaurant, and so much potential if only the issues could be resolved predominantly in the service. Had been all hugely looking forward to our Christmas night out and was a disappointment and waste of money as we left discouraged.
Great food, excellent service. Really fun, lively vibe about the whole restaurant! Would be a lot of fun for groups or birthdays. Also a unique wine selection.
Great food. Perfect ambience and friendly service. Will be back.
The food was great - service good. We had the banquet - 2 dishes were disappointing. The pork belly baklava - that is supposed to be exceptional and the dessert - the caramel baklava ice cream that was icey and of poor quality and size. Overall the other dishes were very good - the lamb was amazing. I would go back again - but probably try specific items off the menu
Booked for a family birthday dinner on a Wednesday. Vibe was surprisingly busy which was great and we chose the “outdoor” area. Lovely but unfortunately became cold and drafty so next time indoors would be much nicer and also looked really beautiful and intimate. Initially welcomed and drinks order taken which never came, then asked again, still nothing and due to a new menu didn’t know the wine flights existed...then a third (different) waitress we grabbed and ordered again plus snagged the food order while we had her. It was a little frustrating as had been there over half an hour before even Dad in law got his beer and wasn’t as if they were run off their feet. This along with some of the table dietaries (noted on booking to pre warn the restaurant) caused confusion and set a bad start but I having come from hospitality understand waiting is not clear cut or as easy as the customer might believe. Thankfully we were in no hurry so although the meal didn’t end until after 9.30pm with a 7pm booking to which we were early for, it was a great experience if you ignore the few mishaps etc and we would come back for sure to try more. Notes to take: waitresses are young and possibly inexperienced so give them some forgiveness for this, they are ultimately super friendly, helpful and lovely wee gems. There appeared to be a head waitress who she was amazing and smoothed over all our issues quickly! The wine guy.. wow! He was so cool! So knowledgable and told such a story with each wine! Def coming back to learn more and taste all the Greek wines!! Food: yummy!! Banquet couldn’t be made for 3 but ordered anyway and I ordered separately. Highlights were the Dips (a must!), Saganaki cheese, Octopus (mindblowing best ever had!), feta salad, leeks, lamb skaras, Ouzo sorbet dessert (amazing!) and the baklava ice cream. Downside was the eggplant zucchini crisps were disappointing as looked amazing online but were over salty/spiced and not very nice at all. Calamari was okay, tender and tasty, but not much of a portion for the price. The Horta (greens) just tasted bitter and nothing but that. Shame as love my veggies. Also fish of the day may have been salmon but not as you know it! Flavour was incredible and the veg with it I’d wished there was more of it! Now the huge disappointment was that it was meant to be served medium rare as they told me, but due to them taking out before the other mains they returned it and must have reheated or kept warm so it was over cooked and dry when I got it next which I was so sad about at $36 salmon! It otherwise would have been a perfect and well recommended dish! Overall we certainly spent a small fortune even with the discount but we left rolling out with the amount we ordered. Would love to return and hopefully the hiccups be more ironed out. Irregardless well done and thank you for a (nearly 100%) delicious meal :)
Great Greek Food & Wine. Pleasant helpful staff. Uncluttered eating areas. Great food, very generous portions for the mains. Definitely will return.
