About Not Bread Alone

Bread for breakfast. For scrumptious all-day breakfasts, there’s only one place to go: Not Bread Alone in Crows Nest! A licensed café and restaurant, Not Bread Alone is a trendy urban eatery, known for its hearty, old-school breakfast meals, available every day from 7:30am until 5pm. Eggs, cooked your way, homemade baked beans and toast, porridge, muesli, French toast, hotcakes, corn fritters and more - all served with fresh juices and their special coffee roasted in-house. For something a little bigger, Not Bread Alone also offers sandwiches, salads, burgers and healthy main meals like salt and pepper squid, grilled fish and lamb shanks. Enjoy your breakfast in the sun on the outdoor backyard terrace, or on the tree-lined street under the shade of the umbrellas. Plenty of young mums and groups of friends catch up in the afternoon over loose-leaf teas and a daily selection of homemade sweet treats. The staff are friendly and attentive; you’ll always get a smile as a side with your scrambled eggs! Best dish: Free range eggs, sweet corn and chive fritters.
