This is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to, food is always fantastic, the service is top-notch and the restaurant, although small (and on this occasion it was full) never seems overcrowded, the staff have time for everyone and noise does not seem overwhelming. A must-do on every visit to Launceston!

Wonderful atmosphere, attentive and professional service. Food and wine support Tasmanian business. Top spot. Thank you for making it a special experience.

Thank you to the marvellous Chef and Wait Staff who provided us with a fabulous meal and A1 service. Very friendly and warm welcoming environment. Some feedback I would provide would be to have a small selection of craft beers (some great Tassie beers about) and for the very front table where we sat, it was tucked into the window so it made it awkward to use my knife and fork without looking like a T-Rex. :)

The food was amazing, fabulous pasta and seafood. The service was helpful and friendly without being pretentious. We loved our evening here - so glad we made the choice, would definitely recommend and will be back next time we visit Launceston!

This dinner is to celebrate my husband’s birthday not only the food and wine list are superb but the service is unsurpassed. When the dessert came out the kind staff in the restaurant put a little candle onto my husvand’s Cremebrulee as his birthday cake and the entire restaurant made an applause 👏 to cheer my husband’s birthday 🎂 thank you very much for making our holiday sooooooo memorable thanks you very much . If anyone is visiting Launceston, haveinf dinner in Novaro’s is an absolute MUST.

About Novaro's Italian Restaurant

Take heart Novaro’s is a special-event kind of place, somewhere you would like to take that special someone to create a special memory. And that memory would definitely include the divine food that is prepared and served in this establishment. With lush surrounds in the renovated Edwardian homestead, you will be warmed right through when you come in from the brisk Tasmanian air in their cosy wood firelit dining room. The area is decorated in beautiful artwork supplied by renowned local artist Junko Go, in case you’re tempted to take a little bit of Tasmania home with you! Delightful local produce leaps off the pages of their menus including dishes such as creamy seafood soup (Crema frutti brodo) and Spaghettini al gamberoni (spaghetti with pan seared prawns.) Enjoy a glass or two of the local Tasmanian whites or select something from their wide list. Head Chef Nicholas Hooper takes you on a special journey with food that is best enjoyed slowly, and a lot of it. Best dish: Scaloppine alla Marsala
