Excellent service,very traditional dish

When you go to a restaurant you expect to eat well but also that the overall experience is worth it. In this case the food was ok but all the rest was just too bad... Here is the list of events: 1) Starters that were supposed to be on the table were absent; 2) When we asked what is special about the House Steak, the answer we got was "Chips" (!?); 3) A good portion of the sauce on my main dish was spilled on the table upon arrival (no comments from the waiter); 4) The dessert we asked for had a topping which did not come... we waited for a bit and nothing... we told the waiter it was missing and nothing... when told again the answer was that this was how he got the dish from the kitchen (meaning, it's not his problem / fault); 5) to wrap things up, the bill was incorrect. In the middle of all of this, we never saw the desire / willingness to help or to sincerely apologize for all that was happening. Basically, this seems to be an old restaurant, with a fixed clientele and with no desire to look for new ones.

Great place for a nice lunch with colleagues. Excellent food and very good service. English menu available.

We went as part of Lisbon Restaurant Week and found it to be an excellent experience. Well worth a visit.
