The food was surprisingly good for a restaurant that is located at the hotel lobby. I would go back there for lunch. The bar part of the restaurant faced the street and seemed like a better place to sit.
Great value deal and food was excellent. Staff were super friendly and helpful and even managed to get us something not on the standard menu. Will go there again. Highly recommended.
Very busy the food was nice but took a while to come. The few staff did apologise for the delay of food arrival. The value of food with the discount provided.
Staff were very helpful. We arrived in the period of Happy Hour which was great to try some cocktails at a cheaper rate. The meals were nice..nothing to rave about. Our table seating was a bit tucked away however we probably could have asked to move out more into the bar area but wasn't a deal breaker.
Enjoyed delicious braised Lamb shanks
Lovely friendly bar and restaurant staff. Lovely meal. Went before and had drinks for happy hour and then enjoyed our meal in the restaurant. We are staying at the hotel so very convenient as it was raining outside, Will be back for another meal before we leave.
Great food and wonderful service! Will be back!!
Food was good but we didn’t realise it’s a hotel restaurant. We must have arrived when the kitchen just opened up because our food took an hour to arrive even though there was hardly anyone there. Worth the price with the 50% discount.
The restaurant is based within Oaks hotel, although it was empty on a Friday evening we still needed to wait 10 minutes for them to get our table ready. I got the rib eye steak and it was very average and the peppercorn sauce was not good. I would only ever go here if I was on a business trip.
Arriving early on a wet evening, the staff were happy to seat me, and wait for my 'date'. Even though my date was a 'no show', I was asked if all was Ok...so I dined alone, helped to feel comfortable in a stress free zone.
All diners were very happy with their meals. Excellent for pre-show dining. Not a huge menu to choose from, but the specials were a great addition. Helpful and friendly staff. Will return!
Great value for money, the food and beverage staff efficient and friendly. Nice atmosphere and one of our favourites when dining for work functions.
Poor service follow by low standard of food
Was not impressed at all! Booked for NYE and arrived to be told they had a buffet selection on for the evening which was fine. I was then told to pay at the end which again was fine. Now, my fault to a certain extent for not asking the dining price, but we were not told the per head price and I never expected it to be so expensive, nor was there sinage that i could find that said it was buffet selection and no menu ordering nor a price advertised anywhere. This buffet was pretty small and consisted of 3 roast meats, veg, prawns (poor quality), mussels and a pasta dish for dinner then 3 very small slice type sweets, fruit and cheese for desserts. So for a buffet, not much selection, which again would be fine except it got to the end and we were charged $75 per person!! NOT including our drinks! If i knew prior that this tiny hotel buffet was going to cost $75 per person, I would have definately walked away. The menu I read online stated steaks, burgers, fish, etc at really reasonable prices and probably would have cost about $100 for 2 people with drinks. $150 for 2 people for a small buffet, not including drinks is ridiculous! Yes I understand this was NYE but come on, the place is nothing fancy and a heads up would have been appreciated.
