Very nice food , knowledgeable and helpful staff. I will be back . Weather permitting, it would be lovely to sit outside also. The Christmas wreath looked great on the wall.
The food quality was disappointing, the food came out cold, disappointing in taste. The price of dishes are expensive for what your getting. We won’t be back
Sadly disappointing, the restaurant seemed understaffed. Would have loved to stay the whole afternoon and enjoy dessert and more wines but the service was lacking so we decided to spend elsewhere. The setting was gorgeous and the Rose beautiful but will wait a while until we return :(
Love it -3rd time I’ve been there & won’t be my last.
The food is great but the service last night was horrible. They were clearly understaffed but no one mentioned anythjng or apologised for the delays on everything and the poor service that we received. We have been to this place many times before and the service has always been amazing but last night they fell short on that
Staff were very friendly and helpful. The menu had a good number of options to choose from. Food was delicious with ample sized servings. Venue has a lovely outlook.
New menu was excellent; friendly and efficient service; great atmosphere and view
First hot day for the year and the aircon was turned up a little high so we were cold. Otherwise all was good.
We had a lovely lunch
Fabulous food and a great experience, highly recommended
We absolutely loved our dinning experience at Olivigna. The pizzas were the best we've ever tasted, the rissoto was melt in the mouth and the pasta was so fresh and flavoursome. As for the desserts... DELICIOUS - especially the chocolate pana cotta! We were celebrating a special birthday and the atmosphere was just perfect.
Very personable staff with excellent service.
We enjoyed our time and would highly recommend to friends/family.
Good food, but it would have been better to have received more suitable knives - cutting through the pizza crust was a bit of work. Good drinks list, melt-in-your mouth pork belly. $5 cakeage charge per person included great plating and scoops of sorbet.
Small wine list with our preference not available Food was excellent except for 1 bad mussel Staff did nothing when we told them. A bit poor we thought.
Overall, it's a great place with beautiful view and delicious food. I think the waitresses could smile a bit more :)
although nice views and setting , the service and quality of food was not what we expected. Need to invest in more staff so that we dont have to wait for long periods when ordering!
Three of us enjoyed a lovely Saturday afternoon lunch - we shared two entrees; had a main meal each and finally, shared two desserts - all for $80 each. This included a bottle of the estate sparkling. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience!!! I have already forwarded on pics and a recommendation to friends. We will be returning sooner rather than later : )
Excellent service, good setting , good view and good food. That's what a good restaurant should be. Will definitely continue to come back . Thank you!

A little bit of Italy in Warrandyte...
Love the idea of sunning yourself in Tuscany but can’t find the time or the coin to make it to the Italian hills? Believe it or not, a little bit of
Italy can be found at Pietro Gallo Estate in Warrandyte South - only 30 minutes out of Melbourne’s CBD! Drive up to the estate and let the stress of a busy work week wash away. Surrounded by tall cypress trees, you’ll feel like you're winding your way up the beautiful Tuscan Hills. With 20 acres around you with olive groves, a vineyard, orchard and garden, you can’t ask for a better location for a weekend (or mid-week) getaway. The rustic stone Olivigna restaurant is open and beautifully bright with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the vast estate and the Tuscan (reality check: Warrandyte) hills. The commanding chandeliers over the fireplace and
dining room give a real sense of occasion with small, thoughtful touches such as the wooden shoe lasts picked up from France to use as coat racks.
So what about the food? Inspired by a paddock to plate philosophy, Olivigna restaurant serves up a range of Italian dishes from wood fired pizzas to antipasto platters and pastas. Enjoy a little piece of Italy in AUS at Pietro Gallo Estate.
