8.5/10The environment was great and liked the whole setup. However, there’s a guy (waiter or someone from the team) being judgemental to my child. I thought he was caring enough to say ‘careful, not hurt yourself if you play here’ instead he said ‘careful not touch xx and get it dirty’. To be fair, a child has trouble to eat and how can he/she even get food onto something? Or he could have asked before judging. We only realised it after he said it and left, otherwise I would have told him to be polite and fair to us. The waitress was super nice, caring and friendly. Food was somewhat good and less satisfying (sauce for Salmon is toooo salty, the pasta tasted great but could have been better (said spicy but No taste of spicy only flavour took over is sour. I hope whatever happens to my fam not happening again to other families. It’s not pleasant at all.

10/10Love the food - so good. Had a totally delicious burrata and linguine to start followed by the trout, amazing Verdura (who knew Brussel Spouts could taste so good) and the hazelnut cheesecake. Service was perfection!

9.5/10The rainbow trout was absolutely amazing. Try it fast please but I would recommend without the sauce Superb gnocchi’s as well with truffle sauce. Great service , friendly Brazilian manager and an excellent customer service from the waitress ( blue eyes , sorry don’t know the name )

7/10Nice restaurant and good customer service. Food was more so on the average side, and the food portions were so small! If it had not been for the fork discount, I don't think it'd have been worth visiting. We ordered 6 entrees, 2 pastas, 1 main, 2 desserts between 5 of us but still felt like we didn't eat that much. All in all, ambience is nice, service is good.. But the portion sizes are too small in my opinion.

7/10There were cockroaches crawling down and one fell on the napkin closest to the wall We saw 3 in the space of a few mins which is a shame because the oysters, gnocchi and service were really, really good.

10/10We’ve been once before and was so happy we returned to try it again, everything was delicious and our parents loved it. Large portions, amazing sauces, delicate meat. The waitstaff were friendly and attentive as usual. Definitely a new favorite.

Founded by a close team of hospitality professionals with friendships dating back to childhood, the Osteria Coogee mission is to extend the Italian sense of family and connection to all that dine with us. Our menu is stripped back to basics, focusing on the simplicity and integrity of the Italian culture, less is best in the Osteria kitchen as we want you to experience the true Italian flavours.
We believe that good company is made all the more memorable when centered around incredible food, we’ve created a menu celebrating the best of Italy. Our mission is to bring a piece of Italy to the heart of Coogee, and to bring the Italian sense of family and connection to everyone that dines with us.
