Attention to service was spot on brilliant, made us feel very welcome, brought my 7 year old daughter along and she was treated very well with her own 4 course menu , we had the truffle 5 course menu , my favourite was the taco tartare

We had the 5 course truffle dinner, which was fabulous. Especially loved the cauliflower soup, and the beef cheeks. We have been eating here for the last few years, and wouldn't kiss their truffle dinners.

We went the first time on a Tuesday. It was so incredible we recommend to friends and took them the following Tuesday. The food is unbelievable and the owner/chef, Damien, is truly talented. This is a must and we cannot wait to go back!

Very strange experience. We found the whole thing very funny but others would have found it annoying/frustrating. I ordered a sparkling water with lime - our waiter brought back a bowl of lime slices with no drink. My friend is coeliac (proper) and she asked what on the menu is gf as there are no indications - the waiter replied “I should know this, we did an assignment in high school about it”. My friend suggested he ask the chef... which he did and came back with a menu highlighted with the items. I’ll add that she did call a few days prior to let them know and the person she spoke to said not a problem and they would note it down for our table. Our table then ordered another round of drinks. He came out with two bottles of wine - one incorrect. He then left the right bottle on the table and went and swamped the incorrect one, poured the glasses and then walked away leaving the other bottle on the table.... 20/30 mins passed and he then came back and said “oh you liked the GSM so much you got a bottle?” He was very confused, even though he was our only waiter... As I said we found it funny. But others would have found the entire experience frustrating. I actually thought we’re were on a punk’d episode throughout the entire night. Food - my pumpkin tortellini was great, oysters were small. My friend ordered the salted wallaby and it came out as wallaby tartare (I don’t know if that’s the same thing but it probably should have been very specific for something like that ). Mains were great. Gnocchi and lamp. Desserts were good. Magnum was delicious. Found the creme caramel sauce very bitter.

One of the best restaurants in Australia. Everything was fabulous. The flavours of the food were incredible. The wait team were all young, helpful and very engaged.
