Will Cowper

William Cowper joined Otto as an apprentice in 2005, studying at Ryde College’s fabled hospitality training centre where he worked under head chef James Kidman and learned the art of preparing food that is unashamedly simple. Continuing his love of the Mediterranean, Will moved to Ottoman Cuisine where he learned about spice and a different style of cooking. In 2008, Will returned to Otto and began to expand his role in the kitchen, being promoted through positions of increasing responsibility.

Otto is our family favourite , the flavours and quality of each dish are amazing. The hard work by all staff is noticeable, a pleasure to see such a cohesive unit.

Pastas are delicious and very well made. The mains aren't so great particularly for the price. I'd happily skip mains next time and just try all the pastas. The servings aren't so big although pastas are quite filling on its own.

About Otto Brisbane

Otto comes to Brisbane The Fink Group have entered Queensland, and they've entered in style. The newly opened Otto Ristorante shares a similar DNA to its Sydney sister, boasting a beautiful southern Italian menu with slightly lighter dishes to reflect Brisbane's warmer climate. This venue is versatile, and oscillates easily between breakfast, lunch and dinner, providing all kinds of options - from casual drinks to full blown degustation. The menu is fresh, with plenty of seafood items and incredible pastas - highlights include baby barra with salsa verde and lemon and potato gnocchi with braised rabbit and gremolata.
