The staff couldn't have been more helpful, and the food was excellent. Have eaten there many times before and will certainly continue to do so.

Friendly and attentative service. Food was OK, but over priced.

Meals were lovely, cooked to perfection and loved the different dessert options we hadn’t seen anywhere before. Would have preferred chips than fries though. Nice place and easy parking. Just off the freeway so great access available.

Tasty meal with good service.

The service and food were both very good. Meals were very nicely presented. There was a fairly high noise level at times, due to a couple of large groups and no noise absorbing materials. We used the cutlery provided for our entree, but then had to reuse it for our main course, which I though was strange and unnecessary.

About Overflow Cafe Wine Bar

Going with the Overflow Looking for a place to bring a few friends or go on a date in Mount Waverley? Check out Overflow Café | Wine Bar. As part of Hotel Bruce County, which was established in 1981, the Overflow Café | Wine Bar is just right for after-work drinks or a cheery meal. Contemporary, sleek and stylish, Overflow tempts patrons with its bright gas fire in the winter and its breezy terrace in the summer. The café serves breakfast and lunch Monday to Friday as well as dinner Monday through Saturday. The atmosphere is hospitable and friendly with the feeling of dining in a friend’s house more than a restaurant. If you’re ready for a tipple, you can head into the glass-fronted wine room to pick your own bottle. Or, go for a cocktail at the bar or one of the many local, boutique or international beers available. The food is modern Australian. There are ample small plates to share — salt and pepper calamari with lime aioli, anyone? — and many classics to choose from. When it comes to the main event, sometimes you just can’t pass up a parma. Best dish: Crisp skinned Atlantic salmon
