Hit and miss. The ribs were terribly dry and tough. I wouldn’t go again.

Food was good and great price on the lunch special but service was disorganised, slow and at times a bit rude

Located in the vibrant area of Albert/Charlotte street with a decent interior ambient to overview the pulsing beat of the city. Went out for lunch and choose the 3 course menu with selection of main course pasta - gnocchi. It was mouth-watering and would highly suggest to try. Entry and dessert were further fine. Only complain would be the waiter attitude on an usual request with kind of arrogance touch to it. But overall, highly recommend.

I was a visitor to Brisbane and booked dinner on line with The Fork. When I arrived I realised I had dined at this Italian gem when last in Brisbane 2 years ago.....and the food was as good; with good service.

Food was delicious, timing of food arrival was also very good. Wine list was decent. Service was pretty good, but not outstanding. (ordered a drink that had to be asked for again) Portions were quite generous, especially for a lunch special.

Great place for a work lunch, I hear the breakfasts are fabulous too.

Food was solid. Service was mediocre and disjointed. Candles weren't lit on tables. Felt rushed. Wine took ages to come, were already almost done our mains. Very little personality. Was disappointed in overall experience. It's a great room with so much potential but the lack of service tips the scales down.

About Pane E Vino

On bread alone It may be true that man (or woman) cannot live on bread alone, but add some wine and you’ll be thinking otherwise. That’s where Pane e Vino, located in Brisbane’s CBD, takes its cue and if the number of satisfied patrons is anything to go by, they appear to be onto a winner. Open early, this cafe is a popular spot for that first jump-start morning coffee, a casual lunch or an after-work pick me up. The menu changes with the seasons but you can be sure they’ll have Panini (sandwiches served on Turkish bread with shoestring fries), a selection of tasty pasta dishes and share plates, perfect for unwinding with friends after a long weekend. Best dish: Spaghetti alla marinara
