I was disappointed as I didnt realise it was degustation. A lot of food i didnt like. it looked pretty though. I w ould only go back if it was a la carte dining

Greeting was messy. Was invited to do a wine tasting and then ignored for 10 minutes. Sommelier never came to our table. Male waiting staff member could have smiled and seemed to be just going through the motions. Other staff very pleasant. Nobody ushered us out. Little failures, but something to be worked on.

We had the 6-course degustation. The food and wine pairings were utterly perfect. This is a great place for a special occasion. Be prepared for a pricey evening, but worth it for a special event. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We were given the best table in the house with a brilliant view over the vineyard at sunset. Magnificent!

Excellent food, wine and service as usual. Two comments on the Winter Special Menu: Only one choice for each of three courses and no vegetarian main course option. Yes, there were two other Menus to choose from but I consider, in this day and age, that any Menu should have a least one vegetarian option. Second point was that with two of us dining, we were told we both had to have the same menu. I would have loved to have had the Winter Special Menu but as my wife could not have that Menu because of the lack of a Vegetarian main course, I was not allowed to have that menu either. Strange policy especially at a restaurant we consider one of the best on the Mornington Peninsula.

New Years Eve Degustation Menu

Ring in the New Year at Paringa Estate with our 6 course degustation menu, including a glass of Champagne on arrival! $175 per person Although we don’t say no to children dining on the evening, please be aware that there will be a $100 charge per child. This will include a small entrée, main and a dessert with a soft drink. Our restaurant is a very small in space and therefore all children must be seated at the table during the evening as there are no designated areas where children can play.
