One of our favourite restaurants. Never lets us down, great food, service, and atmosphere. We welcomed some overseas guests for dinner and they loved it.

We love Fench cooking and to have a French waiter is our perfect night out. Takes us back to many wonderful meals in France the country we love to travel back to.

Fantastic find of a French restaurant with BYO Wine at $14. Food was the best quality, we actually had 4 entrees shared between us two and two mains which was more than enough. Our eyes were certainly bigger than our stomach can handle! Highlights were the trout and chix liver pate, prawn bisque and must have the escargot! the service was attentive yet non obtrusive. Will recommend to friends and family.

Tonight, with the staff presumably under the pump because of the holiday-weekend, the PGo food wasn't quite as good as I've usually experienced it. So, putting my reduced score down to the "time of year".

The food at Paris Go is always good, though the sides are getting expensive.

Reasonable middle-of-the-road French restaurant however we will return to try more of the dishes to see if we like them better.

Great food and fantastic, fun and personable service. I would travel here again, rather than go to the more well-known French restaurants the other side of town!

About the restaurant

A Little Piece of Paris in Carlton

If it’s some Parisian panache you’re after, this is the place. Think outside the Italian box next time you’re in Carlton and go for a bit of French flair instead. You’ll get just what you’d expect from a French institution—style, service, mouth-watering food and a wide-ranging selection of wines. Best dish? There are probably too many to mention, and the daily specials are always worth considering. The charcuterie platter is always a winning start. The duck, oysters, mussels and steak tartare are regular favourites, too. Oh and don’t forget the pommes frites either. The menu features all of the old French standbys you’d expect—and want—served in a warm, crowded-but-cosy environment. Great place to celebrate a special occasion or bring a date or out-of-town guests. If you want to impress, that is. This is the type of French restaurant you’ll keep coming back to. And you’ll love it even more each time, especially once you try the desserts. Best dish: steak tartare
