Really extraordinary and unique food and kind of Caribbean vibe, we loved it.
Pazar is always fantastic. Love their ever changing menu and kudos to the chef for coming up with so many different and delicious flavour combinations.
Always great food, service and atmosphere.
I come to Pazar for the great quality, great tasting food. I'm an omnivore, but I recognise that most dishes are vegetarian - and it's so, so good. Would convert any meat-eater! The taste combinations are out of this world! The atmosphere is great, as there are always lots of people there and the tables are communal so there is a friendly feel. It is located on a busy road and you could walk right past it and not notice it. It is a local gem!
DELICIOUS! unique. amazing. can't wait to go back.
Being bound by a banquet was a downfall for all of diners on our table. Every diner should have choices whether they are under or over 7 people. Being bound and restricted to set menus left most of us unable to pick our choices and paying far more what we have paid when I visited before with other 3 of my friends before. I believe set menu restriction is not a fair choice and I don’t think I will revisit restaurant with bigger group. I was planning to revisit with other friends, I have to reconsider this time. Thank you.
One of Sydney’s best restaurants, hidden away in the most unassuming spot. Every dish on the menu is surprising and packed with vibrant flavour. Demanding diners return here again and again.
Pazar never fails to impress. The food is always amazing and full of flavour. Oh did I mention their two sweet share plates, just heaven on a plate.
Great vegetarian menu!
Amazing food, staff were excellent and very informative about selecting the dishes. I think we over ordered, however I will definitely go back there as I haven’t tasted food like this in ages.
just if you order dip do you eat it on its own ? no bread comes with it ?
Overall experience, my friends and I were so appreciative of food and atmosphere. They all indicated they will definitely return to the Pazar with family and friends. One comment is if you upgrade reception upon arrival and removing empty plates off table. I will be back soon to dine in with other groups. ????
We live quite a way away but have been recommending Pazar to our friends far and wide because it really is worth the trip. Great food and drinks, friendly service.
Wait staff could of been more attentive other than that food was amazing.
Great place in an unexpected location with excellent share plates
I liked it. Good for something a bit quirky.
Food is the best, it’s a hidden gem. You dine there once, and your hooked. Service is great and so is the atmosphere. Would recommend Pazar to all my friends. Karter
Really enjoyed the food
Great food, a little over priced. The labne is $18. If you want bread it’s another $8. That’s quite a bit for just bread and labne! Even though it is delicious. The service is always a bit off - they push over ordering and drinks are slow to come. But then we did get free tasty olives and they found a table that suited me better being 38 week pregnant. the food and atmosphere keeps us coming back.
Great food and atmosphere

Mexico meets the Middle East.
PAZAR Food Collective is so much more than just a restaurant. “If the food at Pazar has a connective thread, it is a dedication to brightness and balance, a penchant for ramping up flavours. It is kfusion, in every sense of the word, but it tastes big and bold and global and delicious” as described by The New York Times 2017, this hip Canterbury eatery has become the latest hotspot where all the city slickers go for a change of scenery. Previously home to the much-loved Mexican pop-up restaurant La Lupita, 325 Canterbury Road has been transformed into PAZAR, the latest venture by La Lupita’s Attila Yilmaz. As the owner and chef, Attila has a vision for his new restaurant, and plans on not only serving up cult food, but also launching special events, breakfasts, a hole-in-the-wall bar and a food store. For the moment however, it’s the food that’s drawing the crowds.
On the menu, you’ll find some of Attila’s old La Lupita Mexican specialties, this time alongside new Middle Eastern and Turkish offerings. All the dishes are designed for sharing, with the menu constantly evolving, depending on what products are in season. The vibe here is ultra-cool – you’ll find plenty of 20-somethings uploading pictures to Instagram (#nofilter), taking selfies with friends and checking in on Facebook. Not that you can blame them: PAZAR is one place you want to be seen at.
Best dish: Smoked lamb and churro ice cream sandwich.
