Food OK but had sand filled puppies & no response when I told staff. Though they did adjust the food to cater for mt dairy allergy. Waiting staff lovely.

Welcoming service, wonderful food - the duck and lamb were outstanding. I think the place was unusually quiet but nice spot with a view over the golf grounds.

Excellent food and service. Needs to provide better protection for patrons from evening sun glare.

Atmosphere was stark & cold. Had to ask for the fire to be lit in the middle of winter. Food took an hour & a half for entree & another hour for main. Portions tiny. Taste was great but overall lost interest. Took them 20 mins to work out how to split half cash half eftpos. This is not fine dining.

Lovely restaurant would have been great to have the couches in front of the fire for a pre dinner drink as the bar is very casual. Pls update the menus online as was really looking forward to the scallops & Sparkling Shiraz but no longer on the menu! Beautiful views & loved the fire

The restaurant was lovely but service a bit slow on this particular night as they only had two waitresses initially and were quite busy! The food was delicious though!!

Food was fantastic, difficult to choose from some great menu options - we loved the quail & the lamb! Excellent attention to detail, the meals looked beautiful and tasted divine. Friendly, quick service, great local beer & wine, nothing to change - thanks for a wonderful dinner!

About the restaurant

Rock on This restaurant is the charming resident of the Peppers Moonah Links Resort, a very fancy country resort. It’s got its own golf course, a luscious green rolling plane that gives the restaurant a beautiful setting and a feeling of opulence. Here at Pebbles, you’ll feel like a languorous movie star between shoots. Imagine sitting out on the terrace in the lovely sunshine while sipping champagne and sucking on oysters. Head chef Ankur Chhabra creates an a la carte menu based on the seasons and the best local food from the Mornington peninsula area. It’s always changing, but you can expect to see the likes of delicious homemade gnocchi with black truffles, or sumptuous Szechuan half duck, a rich winy glazed treat. Desserts are no less decadent. We went for an orange and almond pudding with mascato sorbet. The incredible innovations went so far as a dark chocolate brulee with banana cigarillo. Modern Australian doesn’t get much better than Pebbles. Best dish: changes with the season
