Market fresh fish in light beer batter with aioli and garden salad
Herb crusted with heirloom carrots, celeriac puree and shiraz jus
With eggplant dip, glazed beets, quinoa, burghal, mint and cranberry salad
Excellent value for money
Really friendly staff and prompt service
Food was alright, but service needs more work - took a while to catch a waiter's attention
Food was the best I have had in a long time, tasty, well presented and like a 5 star restaurant. Highly recommend
If you’re looking for a place that’s pumping on a Friday night you’ll probably skip this one. But for somewhere quiet with super friendly and attentive staff and well prepared food then you can do much worse than Pelicans. Got the duo stacked burger with the calamari and grilled veggies and all were great. Highlight was the Gin Mare with basil
Went with the 50% The Fork Festival. Had 3 entrees: scallops, lamb and saganaki. The lamb was really good. Had paella and rib eye for mains. As well as a creme brulee for dessert. Would probably come again.
good service and food
Not bad but there's a lot of competition in St Kilda and I think it needs to lift its game a little
Great service, generous and flavourful dishes, good value. The wine was great as well. I live around the corner and will be back!
Wait staff were friendly but the service was quite slow. It was quite disorganised , food took a long time to come out and dessert was forgotten until prompted. The food was lovely but with the wait it did not feel worth it. Go during the week when quieter or when more staff on.
Food was extremely disappointing. One dish out of four was tasty. The remaining dishes were tasteless.
Staff friendly and helpful
Generous portion sized unfortunately not a lot of taste
Lovely setting, great selection of food, friendly staff.
We were not greeted very well as we entered the venue. We instantly thought thats not good. service was extremely slow , food was ok. We received our entrees and main meals before even receiving our drinks. Wasn't busy and struggled to serve efficiently even with 3 staff on the floor
Lovely night. Fantastic meal. Friendly and welcoming staff
Food was good and generous servings. However there were only 4 other people in the restaurant and the service was terrible. We had to go up and ask for the menu to choose a second drink. One of the meals was in incorrect. We were not asked if we would like dessert or coffee. We didn’t have the drink paid and left.
We were very happy with the quality of our meals and the service was good even thought the restaurant was extremely busy. Good value for money
I loved their Harissa chicken.. chicken was juicy and marinated well.. staff was really friendly and welcoming. Worth for the money spent.

Get yourself to Pelican in St Kilda for a delicious meal you won’t forget. The staff here are so welcoming, you’ll feel like you’re visiting your family’s house for lunch.
The Modern Australian menu boasts healthy salads and tasty risottos and paella. Be sure to order the braised ox cheeks, they’re so tender you could eat it through a straw.
Best dish: Braised Ox Cheeks.
