The food was amazing as well as the service, would recommend this restaurant to anyone. The atmosphere and the wonderful layout of the place was sensational. It was a romantic night to remember and one me and my husband will never forget. Love it.
The food is of excellent quality & artistically presented. It’s dining room offers a beautiful atmosphere featuring stylish furnishings, polished timber floors & stately windows overlooking the rainforest. The staff are welcoming & friendly. Obi is an excellent chef. 5 shiny stars ⭐️
Suggest having the wedding garden open to walk around after the meal, no lighting in garden.
From the welcoming in the restaurant, right through to paying the bill was beyond superb. The meals were perfectly balanced on the palate and presented just beautifully! We came away for a memorable time, and The Forks experience is definitely going to be part of our brag story! Truely amazing! Thank you! Craig and Tracey Pickham..
Menu has not changed since last visit! couple of month ago, could be more interesting, same desert, same main!!!
Wouldn’t change a thing! It was perfect!
Exceptional night- superb food and service. Second course was my favourite - fish cooked to perfection. Meal finished off with a whiskey by the fire.
Pethers is always fantastic! The venue is magnificent, the food is beautiful and the service is great! We will be back and would recommend it to anyone visiting Tamborine Mountain.
Beautiful place, great service and delicious food!
Very nice ambience
Nous avons passé une très agréable soirée Les produits locaux sont de première fraîcheur L’ambiance est très cosy La décoration est très chaleureuse La cuisine est excellente
We have dined there 3 times previously when we come to stay at Tamborine Mountain it is or favourite restaurant there.
It was just beautiful. Food was amazing. There was only two couples in the restaurant the table service wasnt great. The young girl was lovely but she was slow with drinks. She kept pacing. She was slow to take plates away.. Other then that it was great. Will come back for sure.
The food was very nice and the service was great.
The whole visit and dining experience was worth it. Thank you. We will come back again.
Service was very cheerful helpful and pleasant , maybe just a little slow. A careful watch and anticipation of needs might improve it just to make it that extra bit better. Eg had to ask for the wine list after entree was delivered. Also would have like the cold drinks come colder please
great food, such a shame only open 3 nights a week, Thurs, Fri and Saturday. Would have gone more often. Only staying at Pethers for 4 nights and only able to use restaurant on Saturday night.
Attentative but discrete table staff. Excellent food. Gorgeous setting in the rainforest.
Our favorite place on the mountain
The whole experience was tremendous. The only thing I would like to improve was the wine list. The food, service and the environment were outstanding.

Far from the madding crowd Deep in the rainforest at North Tambourine, one of Queensland’s most romantic dining experiences awaits. At Pethers Rainforest Retreat, it’s all about the ambience and seclusion in relaxed, intimate surrounds, so it’s no surprise that this ethos is carried through to Pethers Rainforest Restaurant. Luckily for us you don’t need to be a guest at one of the tree houses to indulge in the superb cuisine on offer. When it’s cold enough, an open-sided fireplace crackles invitingly against the backdrop of the spectacular pristine rainforest. We love the chance to slow down for a few hours and forget about the world outside. It’s in this spirit that the slow-cooked pork cheek and dry-aged Carnaroli rice risotto seem like obvious choices, as does the sovereign lamb rack with black eye ragu. Finish the meal off by sharing the sensuous warm fruit tart and a Mount Tambourine affogato, where hot black coffee and your choice of Mount Tambourine Distillery liqueur is poured over a scoop of creamy vanilla ice-cream, and we guarantee you’ll find it almost impossible to return to reality. The perfect escape. Best dish: slow-cooked pork cheek
