Love this little restaurant, staff are always so lovely and the food is amazing as always. Really nice romantic setting for a date. We were given a special surprise at the end of the meal as it was our 3rd wedding anniversary. Was such a lovely and thoughtful special touch. Definitely one of our favourite restaurants in Perth and our top choice for degustations.
We had the 5 course dinner degustation. Both of us had the cured ocean trout, It had very nice texture, the wasabi sorbet was great accomplishment. The lamb was served simply, medium rare, so were the duck and beef rump. The food was prepared exquisitely, varied and delicious. For dessert we picked the twice baked cheese soufflé with Yuzu sorbet and honey granola

My partner & I enjoyed the La Saveur with 5 courses menu on Friday night. We had the following between us from the menu choices: First course: Celeriac veloute & cured market fish. We think the fish was a must try if you like Japanese. The oyster was also well balanced. Second course: mottainai lamb shoulder & Wagin duck. The duck breast with the jus was amazing and could have been a dish by itself without the other two variations of duck and green sauce. The lamb was also really good and you could taste the olive flavours, we would have been happy to have this served as main course in a standard dining experience. For the main course we had the poached salmon and beef flank. While technically both dishes were good, we didn't enjoy this course as much as the previous two, lacking in flavour for our tastes. The dessert stand out was the death by chocolate, compared to other chocolate desserts it was well balanced and nice to have the different mouthfuls of chocolate rather than a single item like other restaurants commonly do. The espresso souffle was also very good. We also loved all the cleanser courses in between and the elderflower cocktail special. Staff were friendly, educated on the menu and helpful through the meal. Ideal choice for a special date night.

Excellent food, prompt service, and a surprise for my partner after the meal, as it was her birthday. Definitely planning on going again! Had the 5 course menu, which was a perfect portion size overall.
Great food, great ambience and excellent service. Wine matching with each dish was faultless. Definitely worth a try if you haven't been before and highly recommended for a special occasion.
Absolutely superb... the quality of the food, the service and the ambiance. The little touches like the private room on my "romantic dinner for two" request was much appreciated. And the dishes really were bursting with flavour.... we have already recommended it others. We will be back
Food was ok but remember food was excellent a few years back. Didn’t like everything on the degustation menu. Super friendly service though
This was our second visit over the last 12 months and we enjoyed the 9 Course Degustation Menu with pared wines, My wife's dietary requirements were catered for without any problem and the waiter did not skip a beat as he advised and re-paired the wines to suit. Service was excellent, the meals came out at perfect timing and the wines equally well paired - i can belive 3 hours dissapearde so fast :}
Great food, lovely service. It was our first degustation menu and all vegetarian. Will definitely be going back once the menu is changed for Vegos to try it all again.
Excellent food and service from this fantastic restaurant. Never fails to deliver. The Espresso souffle and nutmeg icecream was a superb finish to a special night. Thanks to all the gang.
The food was excellent but the size of portions was disappointing. There was no threat to life from the "Death By Chocolate" dessert portion size. The inclusion of sparkling water is a nice touch.
It is fine dining. The portions are small. There is quite a wait between dishes, but we had good conversation. The head waiter was excellent and can be commended. Very good people skills. Service good. We did the 5 course meal. If you are hungry, go for the nine course. It was a special occasion. The starter of cured market fish was excellent. Enjoyable evening.
Food was amazing but staff not quite as attentive as I’d expected. One member of staff explained she was new so didn’t know what any of the drinks were, we had to point at the menu to show her what we wanted. We also had to wait a while to order our second drinks as no one noticed our glasses were empty.
Second time there and first time with their recommended matching wines. Added enormously to the already wonderful experience. Excellent service.
