Philippe Mouchel

Philippe Mouchel was born in Normandy, and commenced his apprenticeship at the Hotel le Grand Cerf, at age 16. In 1991 Philippe and his family relocated to Australia where he opened the restaurant Paul Bocuse at Daimaru in Melbourne. In 2005 Philippe opened French restaurant, The Brasserie by Philippe Mouchel, at Crown and then in 2010 he opened P M 24, which closed in 2014. ‘Philippe’ opened in June 2016 and showcases traditional yet innovative French cooking.

This restaurant was great. Although it is French it does serve traditional Italian deserts which were a bit of a surprise. Overall this restaurant was fantastic in both service and food. I would highly recommend it.
