Fabulous
Piccolino is a gem. Simple authentic Italian food prepared lovingly and served hot. Exceptional wait staff - attentive, friendly and very gorgeous! Delightful ambience with fabulous live vocal guitarist. As Noosa regulars - We’ll be back!
We arrived to find they didn’t have our booking and I was required to show my email confirmation. Then we were asked to come back 30 mins later which was fine.... however when we returned the maître de didn’t remember us and I had to remind him of the situation. They were very busy and didn’t have enough staff on so the wait was quite a while for food. The food was good when it arrived. I’m in no rush to go back.
Service was disappointing
Food was excellent service quick and very friendly atmosphere with music was very nice over all it was very pleasant experience price was reasonable
Food was excellent. Had a lady singing and playing guitar - she was fantastic. The restaurant was very busy, so could have done with one or two more staff. But the pizzas were excellent when they came. Tiramisu was 10/10
Service was excellent,
Was a lovely night, the live music was a bonus and they were great. Great food and atmosphere
The food was pretty good. I had the seafood pizza and I enjoyed it. The restaurant upstairs though was stinking hot and uncomfortable with no air conditioning. We were seated right near the pizza oven - shouldn’t even be a table there but I know space is tight in this small restaurant. The staff were good but we’re not overly friendly. Considering how hot it was, I can understand their lack of enthusiasm. I ordered a margarita and for $22 the presentation was poor (it was in a plain tumbler glass which was the same as the water glasses) and the mango tasted like it came out of a can. It was also on the warmer side as far as drinks go. It had the potential to be a great cocktail, however, it should have been in a nicer tall glass, fresh mango and had more of a semi frozen consistency. The toilet upstairs was a unisex toilet. It was only about 8.30pm when I went in there. There was wee all over the floor and it smelled like a urinal. Pretty disgusting. For a restaurant right on Hastings St my experience here wasn’t the best. Although the food was good, I wouldn’t go back.
Amazing atmosphere, service, live music and beautiful food! And drinks. We will be back!
Short staffed, couldn’t find bookings and was served lasagne burnt on outside cold in middle. No one came back to check on our meals so we left the cold food. Disappointing, our last visit in March was great.
Amazing vibe and food
Food is always excellent, been back 3 times this month. Have taken family, and referred friends. Be sure to book as it gets busy. The Calamari is amazing. Thank you
Fabulous little restaurant. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and our family enjoyed everything. The prawns Are a must.
Unfortunately this place was a real disappointment. Despite it having a good vibe and a good atmosphere there were just too many simple mistakes which seemed to effect everyone in the restaurant. The staff were run off their feet which meant you We’re constantly looking around to grab a staff members attention. Everyone’s food seemed to take in excess of an hour which for a restaurant is just not acceptable. Regardless of how busy the restaurant is customers should not be kept waiting that long with no explanation or apology. I would avoid this place and try for another on the strip
Very disappointing experience. Restaraunt was quite busy with insufficient wait staff and lots of people waiting for take away. Our food (2 pizzas and a children’s meal) took an hour to arrive and was ok but not great. Would not go back. They did not seem to be coping with the school holiday numbers
Piccolino has a young funky vibe but the food is as good as any we have had in Noosa. Our group chose four different pasta dishes, all excellent. Service was professional and friendly.
One of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been too! Customer service was amazing and the food was outstanding.... home made everything and so much flavour!! Would literally travel back to Noosa just for this restaurant!!
Service was ok but not great, we had several waiters & had to ask for a glass of ice 3 times. To order the meal took too long & was slow to arrive . The pizza selection is ok but to remove 2 toppings & replace with 2 there was a charge ?! The ham on the pizza was minimal and too much sauce. Then we ordered ice cream for the kids only to be told 10 minutes later they didnt have that flavour. On the plus side the folk duo band was awesome. As an authentic Italian restaurant its all about service, sorry guys you missed the mark tonight, perhaps have a senior person overseeing the staff as they were below par and didnt know who to look after most of the time.
This little restaurant was recommended to us by family and friends as a great place to take visitors to. We found the waiters friendly and the venue welcoming. We really enjoyed our meals. They were very well presented and the lasagna was "melt in your mouth" delicious as was my ravioli. Our visitors were equally impressed and we will definitely be going back again.
Fabulous as usual
