Although a very petit menu in terms of choices, what is on offer packs a punch. Loved the goat ragu. Excellent service. A1 people watching through the front window. We’ll be back.

Loved it! The tasting menu was definitely the way to go it was one of the best I’ve had! The standout for me was the squid ink pasta with cuttlefish but the beetroot came a close second! Oh I forget those gorgeous Brussel sprouts! The service was excellent with the waiters being really helpful and non-judgemental of our second bottle of wine! I will definitely go back!

Service could have been better - seemed slightly understaffed as we were left for a long time for drinks & food orders. Otherwise food was fabulous, would definitely go back for the Sunday special - sounds great.

Take a trip to Florence Found in Fitzroy’s North Village, this is the kind of trattoria that you would find in the backstreets of Florence. It’s got that local, intimate and hands-on feel about it. The food is honest, seasonal and European. Think handmade pasta, slow braises, oxtail, carpaccio and fresh whole fish. It’s unfussy and fresh. Owned by Heidi Modra, Pinotta's blackboard menu changes a few times a week and is predominately Italian, with a few French touches. There’s also a strong foucs on wine, with over forty different types available. Modra runs front of house and loves her wine. She’ll happily open a bottle if someone wants to try a glass so be bold and try something unusual. Pop into Pinotta for a decent drop and a quality meal. You’ll love it.
