One of our favourites for a pre-theatre dinner in Melbourne. Calamari was a great starter and the kangaroo cooked rare was great. Meals are big!!

Been here a few times as I love a good old fashioned Irish pub. Great food and generous servings. Service was impeccable too

Food yummy as last time.. had Irish sausages which were very yummy (as well as the creamy mash). Partner had the curry and said it was yummy too. I will say though that prices are little higher for a simple 'pub-like' meal - maybe because they are situated on Southbank. However at least it was very yummy.

We each had the Beef & Guinness pie which was a lovely meal - served with good veggies. The Irish waitress was lovely & our table was in a great spot. Will return next time we have a show to go to!

I absolutely love JP O'Brien's..every 3 months I am there with friends that have reconnected after 45 years apart...we all love it...the food, the atmosphere, and the service.. The friendless of the staff is really what makes the experience special ...thanks guys...

We had 2 kids (under 10), but only one wanted a kid's meal. The waitress let both have a free drink. I know it's a little thing, but I appreciated the thought.
