It was super busy but the staff still managed to make us feel welcome and looked after and orders arrived at speed.

Service was quick which was vital, as pre theatre. Food delicious, service friendly & efficient. Drinks a little pricey

The food and drinks were ok when they finally arrived, it took approximately 40 minutes for us to be served our meals. The staff were apologetic and offered a reduction on the bill because it took so long

Down to earth and nice pub right in the heart of the city. Superb services and great value on the daily specials

We ordermd the Wednesday specials, the steak was perfectly done to medium rare! Value for money as it came with a drink. We also ordered the seafood chowder! Lovely irish bread that paired well. Wait staff were also attentive! Gonna be back soon

The beef and Guinness pie was good. The apple crumble wasn't as expected, the apple inside was overly soft and mushy.

Loved the Irish Chicken Parma - great menu item!

This restaurant let us book a table 45 minutes before it closes, and 15 minutes before the kitchen closes. Consequently, we had to rush to order and to eat. And no way to order a dessert... Plus, the waitress was absolutely rude. We felt like we were bothering her all the time. She did not even wait we leave to clean our table. Hopefully the food was good, but an overall bad experience for a new year’s eve dinner.

About P.J O'Brien's Sydney

What's the 'craic'? Set in the heart of Sydney, this classic Irish boozer offers the taste of Ireland in the CBD. The warm glow of the open fire and the traditional Irish music echoing transports you and that’s before you’ve even had your first pint of Guinness! As daylight fades the ‘craic’ begins, order up a pint and get yourself a serve of P.J’s signature seafood chowder, finished traditionally with cream and warm Irish soda bread. Get to this glorious local aye! Best dish: Shay’s Irish pork sausages served with creamy mash, caramelised onion and gravy.
