We were fortunate to arrive at 8.30pm (after a movie, of which we'd advised the restaurant and had booked a table accordingly). As a result, the restaurant was quiet and we were able to receive individual attention. The staff were very pleasant and unobtrusive. We ordered Greek tapas as we had just been to see the film Maria Calas, and we thought that this was appropriate. The meals arrived promptly and were freshly cooked, which was nice. Would thoroughly recommend this restaurant, away from the 'busyness' of Civic. Barbara
We walked in and were appalled that this cafeteria called itself a restaurant. Unable to attract the attention of any staff member we left and found a restaurant worthy of the name.
Pleasant atmosphere under staffed had to Ask 3 times for a bottle of wine and went to The bar and took back to The table myself. Staff were friendly food was good.
We returned to Podilato having enjoyed their summer menu earlier in the year. The winter menu was just as good and again, we enjoyed every dish we sampled. We particularly enjoyed the variety in the share plates and tapas. The service remains at it's high standard. We highly recommend this venue.
Great service. Good was delicious and the wine was good.
Varied and tasty food, and very good range of gluten free options
Wait for food is at least 30 mins or more so go early.
Very yummy food, great service and friendly staff.
Will not be back. Food was so average. My food was too salty and the steak sauce came from a box.
Second visit, fantastic again, would recommend
I have nothing to add
Great service, pleasant atmosphere. Good selection of dinner meals
Great service. The mussels dish was delicious!!
Good selection of tapas and all were presented well and tasted great. Good range of different wines to choose from
The car parking was a problem. The restaurant was great.
A lovely little restaurant nestled upstairs with great music and delicious food.
Parking is an issue because construction is ongoing and parking area not yet sealed and lines painted. Lacking atmosphere. Lots of hard surfaces - should imagine it can get very noisy when busy. Wait staff pleasant but inexperienced - eg, tried to take my plate with knife and fork spread apart, indicating I wasn't yet finished. Food nice enough, but not exciting.
Very enjoyable evening
Nice atmosphere with good food and friendly staff. Will improve when roadworks are completed. Will recommend to friends and family
Good service and decent food
