Staff were very attentive however the food quality is questionable. The food is overpriced for what you get.

Wonderful experience! Wait staff were warm and friendly. Left us in peace to enjoy our family birthday, but whenever we needed anything they were delivering in seconds. Appreciated that they didn't start clearing until we had finished sharing our food. Beautiful food and Italian hospitality. Thanks guys!

Food was very average at best. Pastas were unusual tasting and not good at all. Service was very slow. Our mains took about 45 mins and the place was a quarter full. Really disappointed and wont return

we booked for 2045 hours, and felt under pressure to order, eat and leave. Nice wait staff. Food was nice, wine ordinary.

About Portorosa Cafe

Mmmm…Bellissimo! Watch the bustling Market St crowd as you tuck into Joe Napoli’s hearty Italian home cooking. Joe’s specialty is combining tender meats with seafood so fresh you can smell the ozone. The Chilli Crab Linguine arrives with the crabs still in their shells, great to wash down with a fruity Chardonnay from Margaret River. The Pollo Marino, chargrilled chicken breast topped with exquisite tiger prawns in a creamy mushroom sauce, comes with a gorgeous garlicky mash and tender mushrooms. And what could be better to finish off the meal than a sublime Tiramisu. It’s served in a glass, so you can see the soft, delectable layers of mascarpone, sponge fingers soaked in coffee and Tia Maria, with crunchy crumbs as a base, and dusted with chocolate. Joe loves to come and mix with the customers so the atmosphere is friendly and fun. Portorosa also serves perfect pizzas. Open seven days for lunch and dinner. Best dish: Pork Belly on rocket with seared scallops
