Improved food since renovation but service a little slow. Person taking orders needs to be carful not to forgot items, we didn’t receive a side dish we ordered and then after waiting 30minutes relised it wasn’t coming. They apologised for this however.

We went on a night when there was a wedding on. Our seats were next to the function room so it was noisy and we had to use the downstairs bar to order food and drink which meant a trip outside too

The place was not full and there was a long wait at the bar, how will they cope in Summer?

The salad that came with my meal consisted of lettuce, lettuce and almost only lettuce, surely these days I would expect a lot more. I’m coeliac and I do appreciate the variety of the gf meals.

Friendly staff, but needed a lot more staff for Saturday lunchtime - they were under the pump, but kept calm. Queues for food & drinks way too long and time consuming when only there for a couple of hours. Farro salad - delish Parma very average for Portsea pub! Pot of beer expensive Ok priced cocktails 1 tiny bit of chicken in Caesar with chicken at extra cost. All up though, a lovely setting and friendly staff.

Be good to offer lactose free milk for coffee Table service in placing down meals could be sharpened up, eg spare cutlery/plates/serviettes

The entree of wagu croquettes was a really great start but it went downhill from there. The main of eye fillet was not worth the almost $50 price tag. Ordered medium but came out mooing, paired with a poor attempt at a salad (handful of rocket and not much more) and fries (at least make your own and not use frozen ones) did nothing to save this meal. It was boring to say the least. Very disappointing.

We reserved a table the day before. When we arrived, the place was very busy ( it was Saturday night). We were given a table right where people were queuing for food and drink. We asked politely if our table could be moved about two metres away. The young man on duty dragged it away, displaying such bad humour that the knives and forks went flying. He was the one working on the front desk. Not the professional behaviour expected! It put a damper on the night and gave us a bad impression of your establishment. This should be addressed.
