Great Service, staff are wonderful and attentive. We had three courses with drinks and it was sensational. The arancini is a great starter. Great variety of mains and deserts I recommend the sticky date pudding. We went on a voucher and it was so good we went back. This will be our regular Friday night feed.

Positano’s appeal is not there anymore, it used to be cosy and quirky. It’s now very open, bland and the lighting is too bright, it didn’t have any atmosphere. The service was very good and the waitress was friendly. It’s a real shame, I loved it the way it used to be.

The service was prompt and friendly and it was nice and quiet when we visited with quite a nice atmosphere, music playing. Unfortunately though we were not happy with our meals. My glass of sparkling wine was pretty well flat. I had the Barramundi fillet on mash with wilted spinach which all tasted very buttery and I needed a good deal of water to take away the fatty taste. Not a good choice as it turned out as I already have high cholesterol. Hubbie said his meal was nothing special he had the Nasi Goreng Positano and he felt there was too much soy sauce flavouring.

About Positano

Positively pure When a restaurant throws around words like ‘extol’ and ‘virtue’, you know that they mean business. Positano are truly purists of Italian cuisine. They like it done the real Italian way. None of those inch-thick pizza crusts and factory made pasta. No sir! Positano are serious about serving food that tastes like it was made in Italy. So what does that mean, you ask? Positano only do their pizzas with thin crusts, delicious and savoury just the way they were intended to be. And they always make their own pasta using wholesome ingredients and family recipes. The place is positively bursting with locals who love the taste of the fare, and they usually come in groups who want to share the goodness. The homey restaurant always has room for a few more, so book in and bounce along while they warm up your seats for you. If you´re not feeling Italian yourself by the end of it, then your next restaurant review is on us. Best dish: supremo pizza
