9.5/10Quiet night but that’s a nice change ,usually extremely busy around Richmond. Three of our group ordered the duck which was so enjoyable,I would go back just to have the duck,likewise the other 2 people said exactly the same. Service very good ,bottled wine quite pricey ,the men drank beer while the girls settled on a NZ house Sav Blanc $ 45 .Overall the food was the clencher. Well done kitchen staff ??????

Known for its tapas, share plates, boutique wine list and ice cold brews, Public House is a Richmond favourite for all the right reasons. Enter this much loved local and you'll instantly recognize the architectural work of the 6 Degrees crew (responsible for the Newmarket Hotel and the Middle Park Hotel). Grab a couple of small sharing plates - think fried soft shell crab, snapper & ginger dumplings and jamon iberico with crusty bread - a glass of wine and settle in with your mates. Or chow down on a large bowl of ricotta gnocchi, roasted pumpkin, walnuts, shaved parmesan and basil oil - yum! Just make sure you save room for the nutella donuts with lemon curd. You can sit out under the stars in the outdoor courtyard, or snuggle up in the intimate restaurant area - this place has got it all.
