Bar service was disgraceful. The Nachos were absolutely disgusting. Might as well have brought bags of corn chips.

The 2 waitresses seemed to think they had better things to do somewhere else and looked annoyed that the 11 of us were there to order food. Is it that hard to smile and be welcoming?

Staff did not know that we had a booking or knew about what 'Dimmi' was. Luckily it was not too busy and staff kindly quickly put a table for 12 together. Guests complained about Fish dish with not much fish and too much batter for a $29. Over priced for what you get.

Goats cheese tart was minuscule and cost 20 bucks!! Good selection of beers on tap, good service, ambiance is good. But food is average and definitely not good value.

It’s a noisy bar, avg bar food, pricey cocktails in smalls glasses. Micro brew beers are good. But Service was awful. Ordered cocktails and beers. Cocktails arrived. 30 min later we had to chase down the bartender for our beers. Over all it’s ok, but nothing special. Wasnt clean when we were there and the staff didn’t care.

The Pumphouse is a bit 'lived in' but to an extent this is part of its appeal. The atmosphere is relaxed. Great beer selection, decent food and the music selection was right up my street. Cat Stevens, the Stones, Neil Young etc. The development work in Darling Harbour isn't doing the Pumphouse any favours, and it feels dwarfed by the newer buildings. The tables outside coudl do with a good clean. But don't let this put you off. It's a relaxing venue for a chilled evening with good music and great beer.

We ordered the potato wedges and with bacon and cilantro, it didn’t have the bacon and cilantro on. Also, we still had some chips left and weren’t finished when the guy walking past picked the plate off our table.

We had the hot dog and the sausage was the largest and longest we’ve ever seen!

Very nice interior. Service could be better. But worth to go and spend some good time with friends.
