Fine dining without the pretentiousness. Great food with matching wines (chefs tour) and great service.

Eat here regularly. Beef tartare and beef cheek excellent, as was the charred zucchini. Disappointed with chicken, way too much black sauce( balsamic reduction?) which coated everything- not visually appealing or appetising. Twice cooked potatoes a real mix - some hot, some warm, some over cooked, some under cooked. Not at the standard of previous visits.

Not all tables overlook the river and we were placed at a table in the sun on a warm night which was quite uncomfortable. Our view was obscured by a large pillar. Fortunately we were able to move when a table in a better position became available. The food was very tasty. The lamb especially was delicious and beautifully cooked. The cheese platter was very nice. But the outstanding element was the wine list. Amazing choices and great quality wines.
