A better description of the dishes in the menu would have been helpful. The portions were rather small for the price that’s charged. The service was good when we caught the attention of the staff but more staff need to be deployed as the restaurant ran a full house even on a Tuesday night. It’s probably as busy on other nights.

Service was great, food was great. Food came out in a timely manner (business lunch). Food was HOT, high quality cuts and perfectly cooked. Wait staff knew who was having what (hate it when meals are auctioned off at the table!). Two course lunch menu is very good - perfect for a business lunch or pre theatre menu. We will definitely hold more team lunches at Pure South.

I & my friends have dined at your restaurant before, an experience we all enjoyed enormously. As a special treat to coincide with a friend visiting from Darwin we decided to revisit your restaurant. What can I say? Fabulous food & wine, great service & of course spectacular views - yet another lovely experience!

The food and ambience of Pure South was enjoyed by the entire table of 7. We loved that the food was fresh and showcased produce of Tasmania. We will return again.

Tasmanian Farmers' Sunday Roast Lunch

Join us for a nostalgic 'Tasmanian' inspired Sunday roast lunch. The menu is designed weekly to feature a rotating roster of farmers & fishermen from Tasmania, King Island & Flinders Island; served in a warm room with the winter sunlight streaming in the windows with a view down on the river and across to the City. It is Sunday; and so priced for families & friends at $55 per guest for 3 courses. A sample menu is available on our website and is subject to change with our weekly roster of Tasmanian, King Island & Flinders Island farmers & fishermen.
