Staff where more than helpful with making selections of meals to choose, all the recommended dishes where a hit. The Duck is absolutely beautiful. Great night for a group of family or friends to get a Asian dining experience.

Not as good as expected.

Came here for the Peking duck, nicely presented always, they used to slice it in front of you last time, but no longer now. Forgot to take a picture of the crab meat stir fried veggie (from the recommended by chef 1st page), that was very good, not too salty and we can eat it without rice. Make sure you ask for snow peas leave, otherwise they will give you spinach, I find match better with snow peas leave.

Great service and the Peking Duck is one of the best in Melbourne. Overall great food but a little bit pricey for families.

The food was amazing however the service was extremely poor. We waited over an hour in between getting one starter and the next, items were forgotten, and we had to ask multiple times for drinks. This may be a one off. The food was exceptional once it arrived.

The best Peking duck in Melbourne. Other dishes are nice, too. A great place to celebrate a special event or simply satisfy your craving for Peking duck.

About Quanjude

Get ducked Quanjude is a world-renowned style of Peking duck, made from traditional recipes handed down since the Qing Dynasty. In Australia, if you’re looking for the country’s best Peking duck, head straight for Quanjude, an upmarket Beijing eatery on Queen Street in Melbourne. The restaurant is the first to serve the Chinese delicacy, and the talented team have managed to get the tricky dish just right. The duck needs to be the perfect combination of tender on the inside, crispy on the outside before it’s sliced and wrapped in paper-thin pancakes. You’ll find the real deal here! Quanjude doesn’t just serve duck, however; there are plenty of other Asian offerings on the menu, including beef, seafood, soups, noodles and vegetarian dishes. For duck lovers as well as anyone who likes Chinese (and let’s face it, isn’t that all of us?), Quanjude certainly fits the bill. Best dish: Quanjude Peking duck
