Can’t go wrong here! Amazing food. Great vegetarian options and options to make things more or less spicy to suit. Fantastic service and a great place to visit for 2 or as a venue for many.

Excellent food. Well explained. Quick service with all dishes served at once. Only slight disappointment was the level of noise which made conversation a little difficult at times.

Excellent food and service. Nice homely and relaxed atmosphere. Restaurant looked clean and welcoming. Good acoustics, so no trouble conversing, although only a small turnout on a Sun night. Well managed place, with fast, efficient and polite service. Easy parking in the nearby Woolies car park (2 hrs free) or ample free unlimited street parking after 6pm in Ernest Street. Clean, adequate toilets. But evening marred by manager's refusal to accept the Entertainment Book card because we booked through The Fork, even tho that is the only online booking option offered. My email, requesting clarification of the interaction between the Ent Bk and TheFork went unanswered. Evening ended up costing way more than expected, and they even added a hefty 1.5% surcharge onto my card payment.

Service was top class and food excellent, although hotter than other places so order mild if you like medium!

Good food, pleasant service. Banquet was well priced with possibly too many dishes on offer. Great if you have a bigger group with bigger appetites! Restaurant was busy on a Saturday night with family groups and adults. So it was noisy with people chattering away.

About the restaurant

Come In, Cumin Raavi’s Cumin is a softly-lit restaurant in the heart of Crows Nest. Brainchild of the Indian culinary expert Ravi Gandhi, it brings the authentic flavours of North Indian cuisine to the northern suburbs of Sydney. Gandhi’s experience has seen him cheffing for years, all the way from India where he’s been placed among an elite group of Indian master chefs. After touring far and wide with his dishes, he’s settled down to this modest restaurant that makes no concessions when it comes to freshness or flavour. You’ll be welcomed in by gracious Indian hosts and invited to taste some exceptional dishes that blend the old and the new. Some of Gandhi’s originals include the Maachi Rarra, a rich tomatoey fish fillet done with spices that hark back to the Indian coast. Raavi’s also do the a classic chicken dish known as Methi Murg that’ll warm your heart and your stomach with its spices. With plenty of vegetarian and gluten-free options, Raavi’s is the ideal place to dine on any occasion. So if you love Indian, this is the place to be. Best Dish: Maachi Rarra
