Very nice views of the winery and next to Jackalope Hotel. Awesome food and service. Will return next time to try other food. Plenty of parking spots

The staff were great and well versed in what they do which makes it a great experience. Food was great but some dishes maybe a little pricey for the serving size. Overall I would recommend.

We were given a voucher from family and very much enjoyed the shared plate style of eating and also the beautiful views.

We dined at Rare Hare for dinner one Saturday night and had mixed feelings about the experience. The food and wine were both delicious but the service was very average. I'm not sure whether this was because they were understaffed on the night however throughout the whole night we were continuously trying to get the attention of the waitstaff along with everyone sitting around us. Also another note was that as the acoustics in the room are terrible (hard surfaces everywhere) we had to shout across the share table to hear each other where everyone else was doing the same so it didn't make for great dinner atmosphere.

Incredible food and loved the Willow Creek Brut and the Rare Hare take on an Aperol, very yummy. However I wasn’t overly fond of the seating arrangements, everyone on a few big tables!

Rare Hare is fantastic, right from our initial warm welcome we loved the place! We were early for our lunch booking so did a leisurely wine tasting first. After being seated we discussed the menu with a couple of the floor staff who were super helpful and advised us away fro ordering too much food THANKYOU! The food and wine were delicious and my friend really enjoyed her birthday lunch. Highly recommend the beef tartare and the barramundi wings and for dessert both the lemon custard and choc chip cookie were amazing. We’ll definitely be back.

What an amazing experience. The dining room is spectacular with a wood fired heater and magnificent views over the property. The staff were super friendly and made the whole dining experience one to remember. The food was outstanding and the house wines that we tried we delicious. Overall this was a truly memorable lunch that we enjoyed there. We will definitely go again next time we are in the region.

We weren't aware it is communal seating in Rare Hare with shared dishes. No problem with either, the seating is very close though so forget having a private conversation with whoever you arrived with. The seating is across from your dining partner which means you need to speak louder than usual. The music is also on high volume. The menu is designed for sharing, great, we love sharing. The quantities were on the small side. We had lamb rump served with a chutney and pomegranate seeds, lovely combination except the lamb was quite tough. At $38 not good value. Rare Hare is probably best for groups who are happy to fork out at the upper end. We're local, we expected something different to what our experience was.

Finished all the dishes we ordered, including dessert! Helpful service and very reasonably priced based on its quality of food, drink, and general ambiance. Will definitely return.

This was a real experience. Everything about this place was above expectation. Even down to the little details of the branding on napkins & coasters.
