We went to Red Ochre for our wedding anniversary dinner and had a lovely meal and were even treated to a special anniversary treat by the restaurant. Really enjoyed our meal and were impressed with the wine list. We will be back again

Very pleasantly surprised at the improvement since I last visited two years ago. Food and service were both excellent and the view is always a treat.

Interesting menu, location is perfect with great views of City lights. Staff accommodated our group due to another group not arriving with an earlier seating time which was appreciated. Service was very friendly but could have been more attentive at times albeit only a minor flaw that did not detract from the experience in any meaningful way. Overall a very enjoyable night with friends

One of my favourite restaurants. A perfect place to take my interstate and overseas guests to dine.

About Red Ochre Barrel and Grill

In the Red Red Ochre is a firm favourite amongst South Australian locals and visitors alike, after a successful move several years back to its current, permanent home on the banks of the River Torrens which accentuates the views of the beautiful Festival Centre, major hotels and Adelaide skyline. The cuisine at Red Ochre has always been top notch, and service is of the highest quality. The décor is light, airy and hushed, allowing that perfect first date or special occasion to flourish. Try the signature dishes such as the salt and pepper crocodile, or perhaps some miso and sesame-crusted yellow fin tuna. Just don't forget to save room for the Red Ochre liquid Toblerone - it's sensational - or if you’re trying to impress an overseas guest, suggest they try the wattleseed pavlova. Best dish: North QLD Fortune Bay barramundi.
