There didn't seem to be enough staff on. We cleared our own table of glasses to free up space. The food took a while but we did have a large group so understandable if low on staff.

Great venue with a million dollar views and a very relaxing atmosphere. Family friendly and welcoming staff a great place to relax and unwind and enjoy the company of family and friends.

The venue it’s self looks to be recently renovated nicely and staff are approachable. Unfortunately we waited 1.5hrs to receive our lunch order for 3 adults and 2 kids. This was after checking in 3 times to see if they had initially forgotten our order and being told in another 10 minutes then another 10 minutes. We were told the wait would be 45 minutes - which was understandable as they had many booked tables. But after waiting 1.5hrs with no communication of a delay, our food was cold. Chips cold, pizza cold, fish cold, burger cold. This hotel had really dropped the ball today which is disappointing as it was recommended. But I will NOT be recommending to anyone nor will I be returning.

We were warmly welcomed and our table booking was just what we wanted. Due to huge numbers of diners we waited almost an hour for meals. They were presented and cooked very nicely and we enjoyed the fellowship with our friends. We were kindly offered a complimentary round of drinks which was appreciated. We weren’t hurried out and had an enjoyable day. Will return in future at a less busy time with friends from the north side. We live locally and just love the venue. Thank you

Very good food when it came and good VFM. Had to wait 65 minutes for a ‘working lunch’ and it wasn’t overly busy. Chilli crab very good. Need more staff on the bar. Two is not enough ........................

We made a booking on the Fork which the hotel did not have when we arrived, though I could show the confirmation. we were still able to secure a table, not enough bar staff on a Friday night, and the male toilets are disgusting. for newly renovated, has quickly gone back to the way they were prior to the hotel being updated. It would benefit from having a singer/guitar player again

Staff, especially manager Hayden, bent over backwards to ensure our needs were met. Meals were good, although all came out at different times. Great setting - beautifully renovated.

The Redland bay hotel has had a makeover. It’s now a bright and airy atmosphere making it the perfect venue for a family lunch. The menu carers for all the family and there is a play area for the younger children. Will definitely visit again

Lovely food, nice atmosphere but we had to wait an hour and a half for our order to arrive. Having children in our party this was an inconvenience.

We ordered the grilled fish mornay mash peas and corn on the seniors menu. What we were served would not have fed a 3 year old toddler to be honest. Half of my plate was completely empty so $12 not well spent out of our pension. We have been regulars at Redland Bay Hotel for months up until a few weeks ago when the meals for seniors took a definate dive in quality and quantity. Some days it is only us seniors keeping their restaurant going at lunchtimes so if we are treated badly their lunchtime trade will suffer.

I booked this over a month ago- 20 people for my 50th birthday- and had half people having to sit in the sun. Food was good. No atmosphere without live music

The setting outside if lovely and meals were ready quickly. I was disappointed with my salad bowl, not much on the plate except rice. Other meals were a good size, next time I would try something different on the menu.
