Always a great meal, food is fabulous and the service was speedy despite the restaurant was pretty busy.

excellent food and service and quality of food. Great for meat and seafood dishes. Can be little noisy if you after a quiet dinner and chat.

The Regatta is a Brisbane institution and we wanted to celebrate our son’s 30th birthday there. Dinner was good. Not amazing. The Boatshed is a big noisy space. A little crowded. Interesting cocktails. Pricey but good, not amazing.

The concierge should be more formal with people over fifty, I did not like being addresses as “guys” being a54 year old woman. Also, manager should not wear jeans. Our main meal took one hour to arrive, my husband commented to the manager and he gave us a complimentary cake for my birthday, appreciated this.Food was of a high standard.Waitress very efficient and well trained.

About Regatta Boatshed

A meaty must… When you’re almost smacked in the face by a display of hanging meat in ageing cabinets upon entering Regatta Boatshed, you’ll wonder whether you’ve just stepped foot into a suburban abattoir. Although this isn’t the case this certainly sets the scene for whats to come at this much loved local in Toowong - and as you can probably guess, that’s a lot of meat. For all you meat-loving carnivores out there - get excited, the impressive lineup of dry and wet aged steaks will not disappoint. With fourteen different cuts to choose from (expect everything from a petite 180g Diamantina eye fillet ($27.90) to a 1kg rib eye on the bone ($99.90)), it’s fair to say there are more than enough cuts for the picking. Not a meat lover? Breathe a sigh of relief because non-steak lovers are well catered for too. To give steaks the gold star for best dish would be a somewhat obvious choice so we’re shining light on a surprising sweet, the lemon tart. Don’t leave the premises without trying this sweet sensation, it’s quite possibly one of the best in the country, giving France a run for it’s money too. Think short pastry with a silky filling and summery lemon gelato on the side. In other words...it's pure heaven.
